In broad daylight at 10 AM Thursday, 19 year old nursing student Jessica Hughes was attacked and beaten by a pair of muggers whose race the media do not care to mention, as other passengers on the train did not lift a finger to help her.

It would seem that we are down to two options. One is to move to where the muggers aren’t. The other is to assume that there is no social network, whether legitimate (police) or referential (other people) who will protect you from attack, and prepare accordingly.
To them this was not stealing.

I do not know who the bystanders were but in the hood people hardly help others in danger and you have whole snitches get stitches deal, half the reason I am glad my family worked to keep me out of a place like that, plus why would someone live to live in a place in Chicago.

I mentally pictured the other riders as being white, a racist and privileged mistake on my part. You’re right. The other riders were probably also black. Too bad she wasn’t black and the attackers white; then there’d be massive outcry along with a real effort to find the perps.

Obama is one step ahead of you. He’s already made sure that criminals and “refugees” will have the means to move into middle class neighborhoods, but not the really nice area where he’ll be living.
