Left unsaid:
WHITE WOMAN ATTACKED BY BLACKS AS OTHER BLACKS WATCH AND DO NOTHING.
I do not know who the bystanders were but in the hood people hardly help others in danger and you have whole snitches get stitches deal, half the reason I am glad my family worked to keep me out of a place like that, plus why would someone live to live in a place in Chicago.
I mentally pictured the other riders as being white, a racist and privileged mistake on my part. You’re right. The other riders were probably also black. Too bad she wasn’t black and the attackers white; then there’d be massive outcry along with a real effort to find the perps.
So, was the civil rights movement worth it? Whites have already been regulated as second class citizens as blacks once where.

stay away from any school or place of work that can not guarantee your safety coming and going....
Why is Jessica using dangerous, racist public transportation in violent Chicago? Go to nursing school where it is civilized, Jessica. Now you know.
That was my first thought was well.
She described the attacker as an African American man in his mid-20’s. She says he had facial hair, was wearing a blue Ralph Lauren polo hat, a grey hoodie and baggy pants that were sagging below his waist. She says the woman, also African American in her mid-20’s was extremely thin, with long black hair.”
