After his stunning victories in the north-eastern primaries, Donald Trump needs less than 300 more delegates to secure the Republican nomination. So, #NeverTrump haters and losers — it’s time we had a little talk.
Now, I know Trump and the alt-right hurt your feelings by relentlessly undermining the anointed heir to the Royal House of Bush, as well as that flamboyant, permanently dehydrated ADHD junkie from Florida, but it’s time to let bygones be bygones.
So, by all means spend a few days in a safe space blowing bubbles and eating oatmeal raisin cookies like your feminist compatriots to recover, but after that it’ll be time to face reality: Trump is going to be your party’s nominee.
It’s not so bad, honestly. If you get behind Trump fast enough, your betrayed base might forget comments like “we decide the nominee, not the voters.”
Those weren’t just any old voters you were alienating, by the way. They include the next generation of conservative firebrands, who are currently gravitating to Trump, the alt-right, and me. Unlike most right-wing writers, my biggest demographic is 18-34 year olds. Your supporters will be dead or retired in ten years. Ours won’t.
It’s pretty simple, really. Either you want your party and movement to die, or you don’t. (snip)
Never has a candidate with this much promise faced this much opposition. Trump offers everything conservatives have been complaining about for decades: a secure border, improved trade, and an America restored to its rightful place in the world. That is, the top. The best. The greatest. Number one. And the polls will say so!

My wife was just saying the same thing. She was speaking of the Cruz bots on the MSM shows. They are fanatical in their support of Ted and Heidi; to them it’s a religion. She said being on the Trump Train is fun and the Cruzers heads are going to explode when it all ends.
We were watching Trump at the California convention. If you get a chance, watch it. He was hilarious, like a stand-up comedian. They outfoxed the 100’s of protesters outside who were trying to their best to have a confrontation with him.
He and the SS parked alongside a highway away from the hotel, climbed an embankment and walked a few hundred yards to get in the back of the hotel. They went out the same way; all the time the protesters were in the front screamin and yellin, running back and forth every time they saw a black SUV.
Of course MSNBC ran the whole thing live...hours of it.
I agree. But to imagine that they were shown the door without cause is to deny reality.
Some people get overly emotional, become over-the-top abusive, and end up flaming out when they find themselves on the losing side of an argument.
Making the case for Cruz is tantamount to making the case for the GOPe and a contested convention.
That's fundamentally incompatible with achieving unity, and I think you should understand JimRob's actions in that context.
When FR is being used as a propaganda platform for something that JimRob editorially opposes, it shouldn't be surprising when drastic measures are sometimes undertaken.
JimRob is no more perfect than any of us, but, IMHO, he has done a great job moderating this site, which is his property.
Second-guessing JimRob's actions isn't something that's necessary, IMHO, and, again, the zots that I have seen have not been without merit, and, indeed, have only occurred after ample warning was given.
Vote Trump
It would do so only if Trump supporters abandoned the party.
Yet, as a group, most Cruz supporters have pledged to support Trump if he is the nominee.
Why should our candidate not be shown the same respect we show your candidate? For that matter, why should we not be shown any respect at all?
Trumpists are expecting something that they're not willing to reciprocate. And, be advised, the dismissive attitude is not helping your candidate.
Yers, we'd all love to rewrite the rules of basic human psychology, but in the absence of that, the reality wouild be just as I have noted.

I’m fairly certain he would prefer heterosexuality, but that’s an altogether different topic.

What I find most interesting is that flaming homos are now held up as icons of reason on FR as long as it’s in support of Trump.

Yes.. It was about 2 weeks ago. He got carried away with himself and went over the line. He hasn’t figured out a way to handle it. Too bad, it only takes 2 words. He might learn something about life.
