Sometimes hypotheticals can start you thinking: what if all of Europe elected socialists; would we still defend them in NATO? Neocon Answer: yes.
Conclusion: We are not there to promote freedom.
I don’t believe it is in our best interest to see Europe fall to anyone.
Remaining in NATO with tweaks is recommended.
Let them pay more for the defense we provide.
Re-evaluate what nations are in it. If Turkey wants to play hard-line, let it go.
We should not become isolationist.
We do need to have a working relationship with Europe to discourage adventurism there.
We need to get our military up to speed and project around the globe.
We need to have our NAVY on every high sea, and our carriers and subs on station.

Then Send the UN to some Third World Hellhole.
Then burn down the UN building and purify the land.
Then Get Out Of NATO.
