House and Senate Republicans are reluctantly coming to terms with the reality that the real estate mogul -- a man many feared given his unpredictability, questionable policy positions and lack of discipline on the campaign trail -- will likely be their party's standard bearer. Rather than fight it, a number of Republicans say, it may be time to embrace it.

With a 100% perfect Conservative voting record as ranked by the ACU, who fought successfully before the Supreme Court for your Second Ammendment rights. Nice try.
Ted Cruz is not a constitutional-conservative. Were Cruz really a constitutional-conservativehe would not be running for president. There is no way in he[[ that the son of a Cuban born in Canada is a natural born citizen of the United States under original intent.
There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted for the Corker amendment.
There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted to reauthorize the Patriot Act.
There is no way a constitutional-conservative would have voted for the TPP enabling TPA.
Ted Cruz is also a liar, conservatives used to not like lairs.
I hope you'll are happy standing with Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Lindsey Gram, Paul Ryan, Carly Fiorina, Nicky Haley, Golden Sachs, The Club for Growth and the entire globalist GOPe establishment. Oh Obama and Mexico our on your side now too, congrads.
This is why Trump will win in November:
The Donald Trump Phenomenon
http://www.jeffhead.com/Trump-Phenom.htm
The GOP establishment does not get it...but fears it.
The democrat establishment does not get it...but fears it.
The MSM does not get it...but fears it.
And despite all of their efforts, they have not been able to blunt it.
For Trump to have already gotten over 10 million votes in a GOP Primary that started with 17 candidates tells us that these things are true.
After Trump takes INdiana, I am praying Cruz will bury the war hatchet and come out and support Trump as the nominee.
If he is interested in what is best for America...that is what he will do and thus help:
1) Unite the Party (without the “e”)
2) Pave the way for a huge win in November.
3. Show himself to be truly concerned about the best long term interests for the nation.
I have been a strong cruz supporter, but the truth on the ground is what it is and if Trump’s stated (and printed) policies are enacted America will turnaround.
Kasich, Cruz and others like to point to older, historical quotes of trump’s...and they are indeed worrisome if that was what he was running on now, years later.
But he is not.
What he has written and what he is standing upon now in this campaign is what I expect him to do...and quite frankly, believe he will actually do what he says much better as opposed to the likes of Boehner and McConnell.
I did a quick check. What I read stated that he didn't go as far as endorsing Trump, but did accept him as the nominee.
Maybe even Boehner realizes it's time for the jack*ss to come back to OH, show some much-needed leadership in the state, and stop embarrassing us.
JMHO
Honestly, I've been here almost 11 years, and my head is still shaking. Where do they get these OH pols? What a sorry lot those in the national spotlight are. (and that's in comparison to MA, a close second)
“Which means that, behind the noodle-spined squishes that make up the public face of GOPe, there are some very bad people. Probably the same people that are behind the openly evil DNC.”
I think you nailed it.
Here is evidence:
GOPe is in bed with the Democrats for a Hillary presidency.
See:
Tech billionaires (major Dem donors) plot with GOP leaders at exclusive island resort to stop Trump
We got our hoity-toity jobs to think of ... get a harrumph outta Ed over at EeePA!
Perhaps the money train from Wall Street? Just a hunch.
“Im trying to imagine what it is, precisely, that they fear”
They want what liberals want. They despise conservatives
Yesterday, some brave soul, quick of speech, called in to talk to Rush, who let home go on finally coming up with his paraphrase
‘People who support Trump disagree with eighty percent of what he says but they support him. .. And the republican establishment doesn’t get it’
No they don’t
Neither does Rush
But it’s simple. Even if Rush’s numbers are exaggerated.
Voters disagree with two hundred percent or more of what Romney and McCain. Also the republican senate and house that we voters worked hard to put in: Obama and his never ending acts of hatred toward us. They are all a part of it
I don’t think even rush gets this We disagree with more than 100% of what the GOP has done: enabling Obama. And way more than 100% of what Obama has done. But way more than 100% of what the GOP will give us and that’s Hillary
Just allowing her to walk the streets without ankle irons guards and an orange jumpsuit is a GOP act.
People disagree with trump 80 % says Rush (putting words in the callers mouth)
People disagree with GOP 100%.
The math is easy
Does this mean that Ted Cruz’s PAC money will dry up?
Yep. GOPE has given up on Cruz after giving him nearly a 100 mil.
Trumps record of funding liberals against our cause is unforgivable. What’s your take on that? The reports are there. Have you forgiven?
They made fun of him while he was digging in the mud and hauling concrete. Now they want to swim in his pool while eating Trumpsteaks and drinking Trump champagne.
Stay in Tokyo.
No bias there
A great badge of honor bestowed upon Cruz by the nasty, fetid GOPe and their lackeys.
Oh that’s so overused. You can certainly do better than that. Be original for crying out loud.
Actually I can't, being too old to give a cr@p what you think.
