On Sunday night, the campaigns for Ohio Governor John Kasich and Texas Senator Ted Cruz released simultaneous statements declaring an alliance of sorts aimed at taking on the runaway frontrunner, Donald Trump.
Jeff Roe from the Cruz campaign released the following statement details exactly how the arrangement would work:
To ensure that we nominate a Republican who can unify the Republican Party and win in November, our campaign will focus its time and resources in Indiana and in turn clear the path for Gov. Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico, and we would hope that allies of both campaigns would follow our lead.
The divide-and-conquer policy would allow for Cruz to focus his campaign infrastructure in Indiana while Kasich tackles Oregon and New Mexico. We will shift our campaign resources West, clarified the Kasich camp is its statements.
(snip)
And now, enter a third candidate with no hope of derailing the Trump Train: Carly Fiorina, who was named as Cruzs VP choice in the event he miraculously wins the GOP nom. Either Fiorina isnt quite caught up on how the Cruz campaign has been playing politics as of late or the whole Oregon/New Mexico/Indiana debacle is already deemed a likely failure because Fiorina relayed to MSNBCs Hallie Jackson a strange message about her campaigns unlikely bedfellow from Ohio.
Jackson asked, How are two people who have not been able to beat Donald Trump yet better than one person how hasnt been able to beat Donald Trump?
After some jockeying about the states where Cruz has been victorious, Fiorina pivoted and took aim at Kasich. I actually think the person you should be asking this question to is John Kasich. He didnt get the memo. When you cant win, you need to get out.

“When you cant win, you need to get out.
These people are the biggest idiots I have ever seen run.
As if this ankle biter thinks that she and her partner in crime will win? They can ALL GET out and if I were Trump, I would make that very clear that they HAD BETTER get out.
Emphasis on the clueless.
“You just couldnt make this stuff up! Its like they are in a time warp or parallel universe or something - and are absolutely blind to whats actually happening. Its bizarre.”

Totally with you on that.
I wouldn’t be surprised when/if Cruz finally drops out, he’ll say “Due to personal family reasons, I must decline the nomination.”
IIRC, that was when Glenn ‘swore Ted into the Oaf of Office’, right?
I used to think Cruz was a decent guy who was a lousy politician.
After Beck and Carly I’m starting to wonder about the first part.
Cruz is proudly 100% principle-free.
Hope Trump reads The Snake at more rallies.
We now know who the characters of the woman and the snake are played by.
Havent heard much from little fat Ralphy lately. I wonder if he is admiring his destruction campaign in the background.
I told the Cruz supporters to get that SOB the hell away from there, but in retrospect, it became a good thing really.
You can only shake your head with Cruz picking a VP the night after losing so badly.
Maybe after losing Indiana next week hell pick his cabinet. After losing California he can start naming ambassador posts. Before he reaches Cleveland, he can announce where his Presidential library will be built and his next grand plans after serving two terms as President.
“Has Carly started barking yet?”
Worse ... hide your children!

WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!! Carly Fiorina Starts Singing on Stage - MUST WATCH
Gee, that Cruz-Kasich Alliance lasted about as long as a Palestinian ceasefire.
“Yes, please, Kaisch. Get out and give Trump your 66 Ohio delegates.”
I think he’d sooner give Trump one of his testicles, that is if he has any left!
Carly is FOS.
Claims to work from secretary to CEO.
How many Stanford grads work as a secretary? Maybe it was her degree in philosophy and medieval history that no one had a use for?
Her father was dean of Duke University School of Law. It wasn’t like she was some working class woman.
Her entire career was being in the right place at the right time. She was a disaster at HP. She negotiated some horrible deals that set the company back. She was booed at company events.
Somehow, some way my mind harkens back to a movie I saw. “Operation Petticoats” I think it was.
Tony Curtis played the LT JG “fixer - scrounger” on the Sea Tiger.
One scene was where the Sea Tiger was trying to repair, refit and rearm at base somewhere and Tony was stealing everything in sight. Then a Jap air raid happened and all hell broke loose. Cary Grant asked where Curtis was and a seaman said, “when the bombs started dropping the LT bugged out in a deuce and a half and yelled something like - In Confusion There is Profit!”
To me that is this here. Somebody squirreling away some big damn bucks for the lean times and nobody is the wiser.
It may be too late to ask the Cruzina’s to drop out, I heard from a reliable source that the couple has climbed over the White House fence and banging on the door demanding to let them in to measure the drapes.
Cruz maybe he asked but Rubio at least had 170 Delgaates
Well, he isn’t called Lyin’ Ted Cruz for nothing.
Opportunistic backstabber extraordinaire.
Ted and Snarly a repulsive blend of each other.
Kasich shoulda listened instead of stuffin’ hotcakes down his wrinkly gullet.
Bwaahhahahahah!!! Poor John was about to announce his VP!
“Her entire career was being in the right place at the right time. She was a disaster at HP. She negotiated some horrible deals that set the company back. She was booed at company events.”
Always the opportunist, perhaps she felt the tile VP Candidate would enhance her resume, and maybe a condition of her endorsement. That, and $500,000.
heh heh the offal office.
