But it’s also full of contradictions and dangerous strains of isolationism

According to liberal orthodoxy, of course, any strain of isolationism is a dangerous strain...

Vote Trump

Perhaps it it time for a bull in a china closet.
The past 30 years of State Department Of Bullsh#t and Pussyism has not made us very many friends in the world.Trumps first 2 targets should be the State Department and the UN.
.....................................................
Operation Torch was the U.S. entry into the ETO when we landed in North Africa in November 1942. The US State Department was completely in the dark as Roosevelt had given orders that the State Department was to know nothing about the invasion. His remark applies even today, “The place is like a sieve.”
When Donald Trump says we are not going to hold press conferences to tell the world every move we make militarily, I think of Roosevelt’s words. We went on to win the Second WW. I agree totally with Trump.
Please take the US out of the UN and kick the UN out of the US, Mr. Trump!

It is daaaaaaaangerous to want America to take care of America first! How dare we! Better to drive our children into poverty to help other countries.

I could not agree more with Trump’s foreign policies. It’s time. There is NO ONE save Israel who would care to pull our nuts out of the fire. We need to be very strong. The whole world is happy when we fail.

Trump questions international alliances that have kept America safe

Kept America safe? I'd say we contributed a lot more to their safety than they contributed to ours. And I think that's Trump's message.

I want to know why the Viking Kitties are not using the ZOT anymore?
Of course I still watch my mouth (keyboard) around here; don’t want to get suspended again for poor choice of language (yeah, it was pretty bad).

When they suspended me I would read the articles and posts but made sure I refrained from responding.
The monitors were right to do what they did.
What I said was rude, crude, and socially unacceptable; a word that I use rarely in regard to women, but I was really angry at a certain person after the first Republican debate on FOX.

We used to get advisories of a good ZOT; what ever happened to that honored tradition?
(was lurkin since 1999), only got on when I got my own home computer.

If the State department had known, my father would never have got off the beach at Normandy.
He never talked about it, but I guess it was bad enough for several lifetimes.

Trump’s foreign policy speech today was brilliant on many different levels, but one of the most brilliant aspects to his speech is that by formulating and articulating his foreign policy in as much detail as he did at this stage of the election, he’s actually defined the foreign policy issues that will be debated from this point forward in the election! Hillary must now speak to TRUMP’S foreign policy! Hillary must either agree or disagree with the elements of Trump’s policies, which pretty much means she will lose either way.

So, ONCE AGAIN, Donald J. Trump has defined the election issues and has defined them in such a way that it is win-win for him and lose-lose for his opponent. This is something I don’t ever recall seeing in the last 25 years, namely a GOP candidate defining the issues and putting the Democrat on the defensive, rather than the Democrat defining the issues and putting the GOP on the defensive.

[BTW, what’s Hillary’s foreign policy? Does she even have one? Can’t wait to hear her foreign policy speech!]

Looks like some of the Left Coast "news-people" have opted to fall off the Left side even without the help of "The Big One"......

I won't peruse all the comments to see how many Cruz supporters jumped all over this one as "proof that Trump don't belong".....

Yeah!

We shouldn’t be fighting overseas!

We should import those people and fight them here!

Since when are we fighting overseas? We stirred up some hornets nests, at cost of much life and limb of our Warriors, then gave it ll back with interest. Unlike his predecessors, President Trump will fight when necessary and fight to win instead of just drawing out the hamburger mill.

Well, Trump doesn’t read from the Teleprompter as well as Obama does, I’ll give them that.

To me, it sounded like he was just tired. I’m amazed that he’s holding up as well as he does given his schedule.

But apart from that, he didn’t say anything I didn’t totally agree with.

Yep.
