FOX News host Kimberly Guilfoyle told The Five on Wednesday that she watched the Cruz-Carly Fiorina announcement on Wednesday and if felt a little like the “Children of the Corn” cult.
"It was almost like, wait did I miss a couple weeks? or a couple months and this is what’s happening at – the convention? RIght? So it’s definitely putting the cart in front of the horse. But I thought it all went well. The singing freaked me out a little bit. It was a little unusual. Yes, it was a little ‘Children of the Corn’ but I don’t know."
Expect 5,000 hate emails in the next half-hour, Kimberly.

Coincidentally, Cruz won corn states but tended to lose everywhere else.
The Cruz/Fiorina fiasco will live in infamy of political blunders.

You know, I think in November the Crispy Cruzer will have his own, alternate swearing in ceremony, broadcast live from Mark Levin’s secret bunker.
In the face of last night’s primaries, and in the face of Trump’s foreign policy speech...this is simply an effort to try and upstage those things.
Too little too late...and this VP pick does not even take stage IMHO.
Much more important is that CNN is now showing Trump with 52 delegates total in PA out of 54:

Current delegate count according to them, and I have found them to be fairly accurate is:
Trump: 991
Cruz: 568
Kasich: 154

As I predicted on the Primary Thread yesterday, Trump got over 100 of the delegates last night.
I believe this momentum is going to carry over to Indiana next week and that Trump will win big there too.
We shall see.
I expect Trump will go well over the top (probably by 50 or more delegates at this point), on June 7th.
If Cruz is interested in the GOP (without any “e”) winning in November, then he needs to concede next week after Trump (in all likelihood) takes Indiana.
I pray to God that is what he will do. He has the power to:
1) Unite the party by so doing.
2) Deliver a huge blow to the GOPe by so doing.
3) Set up for a big GOP November win.
