Donald J. Trump Foreign Policy Speech
Thank you for the opportunity to speak to you, and thank you to the Center for the National Interest for honoring me with this invitation.
I would like to talk today about how to develop a new foreign policy direction for our country one that replaces randomness with purpose, ideology with strategy, and chaos with peace.
It is time to shake the rust off of Americas foreign policy. It's time to invite new voices and new visions into the fold.
The direction I will outline today will also return us to a timeless principle. My foreign policy will always put the interests of the American people, and American security, above all else. That will be the foundation of every decision that I will make.
America First will be the major and overriding theme of my administration.
But to chart our path forward, we must first briefly look back.

I guess you would have listened to all the other statements Trump made in the past or published.
NAFTA
I think NAFTA has been a disaster. I think our current deals are a disaster. I’m a free trader. The problem with free trade is, you need smart people representing you. We have the greatest negotiators in the world, but we don’t use them. We use political hacks and diplomats. We use the wrong people. Mexico is smart; they have out-negotiated us to a fare-thee-well. They’re going to be the capital of automobiles pretty soon, the way they’re going.

Trade Agreements with China
I’m sick of always reading about outsourcing. Why aren’t we talking about “onshoring”? We need to bring manufacturing jobs back home where they belong. Onshoring, or “repatriation,” is a way for us to take back the jobs China is stealing. We know that China’s wages are increasing. Also, China lacks certain natural resources that we have in abundance. If we exploit those two key facts, we can begin making the case to companies that they should bring their manufacturing facilities home to America.

ISIS
“We really have no choice. We have to knock out ISIS,” he said. “I would listen to the generals, but I’m hearing numbers of 20,000 to 30,000.”

I can only presume that you wanted everything covered in this one speech, where Trump has continually and consistently let his views be known.
A simple google check will answer many of your questions.
I only read it, didn’t see him deliver it. But that is one of the most statesmanlike speeches I have ever read.
But it didn't stop him from waving his arms around while he spoke! ;^D
I laugh when I remember O'bamster using a teleprompter to speak to a 6th grade class... har har - in my mind's eye I could see the kids looking at each other and scratching their heads.
Yes, but it says nothing specific.
Again, he gave no actual details. HOW does he plan to change the trade relationship with China? Is he planning to repeal NAFTA? Repeal trade relations with China? He just does not say.
Yeh too bad Cruz never gives a speech of any substance. Oh wait he never gives a speech except after he loses every primary and says “I am the only candidate who can beat Donald Trump” LOL!
Trump has more specifics than any other candidate. Like our NATO allies paying their fair share and China taking care of the North Korea problem.
Again, he has covered the HOW on his personal website and many other speaking engagements. The fact that your unable or unwilling to do a simple search is your problem, not mine.
Scared to go to his website. May end up spammed or get notices to buy all seasons of the Apprentice.
Sam would not be afraid, why are you?
LOL
LOL.
