For the past few weeks, Republican campaign professionals and conservatives who are seeing the GOP nomination heading into Donald Trumps hands have been counseling anti-Trump voters not to panic and consoling themselves with the notion that things will turn around for Ted Cruz when the final weeks of the campaign shift to the Midwest and mountain states.
After Trumps astounding five-for-five primary night, by margins that were likely surprising even for Trump fans, its now Indiana or bust. If Trump wins the primary next week in the Hoosier State, Cruz is toast and Trump will almost certainly be the Republican nominee.
Theres no putting lipstick on this pig. Cruzs numbers Tuesday night, like his numbers in New York last week, were beyond horrible. With six weeks to go before voting concludes, the man conservatives are hoping can overcome Trump with his clever delegate game and more serious mien is getting 10 to 15 percent of the vote in major states.
It isnt only that the not-Trump vote is failing to coalesce around Cruz hes going backward.
And people are kidding themselves if they think Tuesday nights results wont have an effect on voters in Indiana and elsewhere.

Nope...he is announcing Carly as his VP pick today.
Thanks for all the information you put out here, Captain! I appreciate the info.
Ted’s 10%-15% is richly-deserved. The only bad thing is its still too high for this shady trickster.
Where are all the remaining ones who ranted on? And their “true believer” “articles”, oops I mean paid propaganda?
Yeah, there will be an “anointed king” who “takes controls of all sectors of society” and he comes on a white horse (a la Glenn Beck and the “mormon ‘prophecy’”. This man is called the Antichrist. I don’t think it will be a U.S. President. Still, what a very, very odd thing to say.
Kinda creepy that folks don’t know this is coming; but it will somehow, some way. It is prophesied in the Word of God.
If you’ve lost one of the GOPee’s biggest RINO’s (Podheretz), you REALLY are crumbling.
Hmmmm. Looks like the GOPe is seeing the writing on the Trump Wall.
You are very welcome.
Ping!

I love Tiffany Trump.
The one on the right in your photo.
Don’t tell my wife.
CRUZ surrounded himself with the wrong people. Wrong people will drag a person down every time.
He mis-pronounced Tanzania and misused a word a couple times. Noticeable but nit picking.
And OR and WA and even if he doesn’t win those states, he still picks up delegates.
Of course, if Cruz loses IN and drops out, all Trump has to do is run the table.
Cruz is hoping for a dirty convention. He won’t drop out.
I am Southern Baptist, raised that way. Let me tell you, Southern Baptist are very loosey goosey when it comes to what it accepts or allows in each affiliate congregation (for example, some can dance, some cannot.) BUT .THREE THINGS are not acceptable ANYWHERE to Southern Baptists: GAMBLING, DRINKING, and NOT TITHING:

(Today, Apri 27) During Carly Fiorinas running-mate acceptance speech in Indianapolis, Fiorina described Cruz as a really fun dude whos able to make last-second bets on exciting basketball games.
She revisited the final moments of that epic national title game between Villanova and North Carolina. Fiorina and Cruz were watching the game on the bus, and after Marcus Paiges incredible 3, Cruz threw money on the table. USA TODAY

On CNNs Republican Presidential Townhall, Republican candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) told Anderson Cooper that he drinks alcohol What is your favorite cocktail? Cooper asked Cruz. I am a scotch man, Cruz responded. CNN [PS---scotch is not a cocktail; its a distilled spirit, a member of the whiskey family.]

According to recently released tax records, the Texas senator contributed less than 1 percent of his income to charity between 2006 and 2010. But many Christians believe that the Bible commands a charitable offering, or tithe, equal to 10 percent of ones annual earnings. The Atlantic
Correct. And once that's the case, there will be no rallying back.
My God! Does Ted Cruz have no sense?!
Here's what the next couple of weeks is going to be:
Vote Trump
In the real world, his performance would have gotten him fired long, long ago.
Prediction here is that the voters of Texas will do just that next election.
