Wow. The nastiness on this thread is astounding. Here we have a rock-rib conservative, a guy the GOPe loves to hate and trash (and has trashed time and time again), but he's running against Trump, so suddenly he's crap. He's a laughable figure, fit to be mocked. Would anyone here have believed he'd be treated like this on FR just a year ago?

Perhaps if he would stop acting like a laughable figure the mocking would cease.

Your not winning Ted, no matter how you try to tell us otherwise. He is mocking us.

Cinnamontea, that’s not “nastiness”, it’s called “passion” now...at least by a certain apparent majority here on FR.

“Here we have a rock-rib conservative, a guy the GOPe loves to hate and trash ... “ etc.

That fallacy may have flown here a year ago, my Pollyanna-ish FRiend, but Cruz is aping Trump on issues like immigration, trade and others—and the GOP-e has been holding Ted’s coat.

And the voters don’t like him. The GOP-e notwithstanding, some of us here are less interested in `Ted Cruz’s Magical Mystery Ego Tour’ than in winning back the WH this fall.

TPA, Coker, NAU, Goldman Sach right? That is a rock-rib conservative by what standard. Cruz is power mad, slimy, will do anything GOPe. He did once play a conservative however.

I agree, would not have believed it.

This is the result of his campaign. He has only himself to blame.

Maybe if your boy Rafael didn’t lie so much for as start ???

Last night there was a protestor duri9ng the Cruz speech..(or so Cruz said there was)

Then Cruz copies Trump in what Trump always says “Don’t hurt him” etc

Followed by “If this was a Trump rally Trump would tell his supporters to punch him”

What a lying jerk Cruz is...

so much for “conservative values”

Cruz is a liberal Democrat running in the GOPe race...

People are being jarred awake by reality. Your rock-ribbed conservative will let us be overrun with Muslims and Mexicans and cannot pass any bills to “save the Constitution”.

His only skill is talking and Trump even beat him at that.

Would anyone have believed a year ago that a “rock rib conservative” stood with the most lawless POTUS in history in the United States Senate to enable his secret trade agenda. Yet Ted Cruz did exactly that when he campaigned with Paul Ryan to pass TPA. Ted Cruz made his own bed. Now he has to lay in it.

He willingly surrounded himself with scumbags and scoundrels.

He also evades issues and blames everything on Trump.

He knows how to push conservative buttons but his mind is not healthy. That fact was brought out by the campaign cycle.
