In what many are calling “The End” for Ted Cruz’s presidential bid, Donald Trump ran away with the North East, sweeping PA, CT, RI, MD, and DE in epic Trump-fashion.
It will become increasingly difficult for an already mathematically eliminated Ted Cruz to continue to justify staying in a race after this monumental shellacking.
Ted has defended his odd decision to stay in the race by claiming that Trump has no path to 1237. After tonight’s humiliating defeat will anyone seriously buy what Ted’s trying to sell?

You’re very good at throwing out insults when you hide behind the aegis of the moderator, secure in the thought that you can fling out put-downs with the confidence that your opponent is hamstrung in her response.
I am neither a Nationalist or a Populist. I believe in limited government. Trump’s history and recent remarks don’t show him to believe in same. Some of his stated positions are heartening, some are troubling. I restate that he needs to do more to earn my vote.

I don’t see how being humiliated in state after state would satisfy anyone’s ego. Maybe his handlers don’t mind seeing him humiliated though.
Trump’s momentum is now carrying him to victories well over the 50 percent mark. Indiana will be next on May 3rd, West Virginia and Nebraska will fall into line on May 10th, Oregon and Washington will join them on May 17th. After a 20 day final push, CA, MT, NJ NM, and SD will be added to Trump’s column on June 7th.
Yeah, at this point it’s a Jim Mora “shoulda, woulda, coulda” situation. Cruz went scorched earth and only managed to set his own shoes on fire.

You are assuming you can believe Lyin’ Ted. The problem is that Cruz is a GOPE insider hack liar. You do not know what Calgary Ted’s Bush/Romney masters would have him do and how much he would do anyways because he lies is an GOPE insider globalist hack. Trump may not be perfect but he certainly is not owned by the Bush/Romney GOPE as Ted Bush is. I will take my chances with the guy who is not a Bush tool.

As long as Cruz and his crew are in the race, he should be viewed as an opponent with questionable motives. And this opponent clearly has bad intent if he remains a contender. Otherwise he wouldn't stay in a race he can't win. I'm confident Trump feels sees it this way too.

My fear is that Donald Trump can be easily ‘owned’ by anyone who strokes his ego. He seems very, very needy, and needy people can be easy to manipulate.
Actually, I’ve read Trump’s stated positions on his website THRICE.
As I said before (but which you apparently couldn’t be bothered to read), I find some of his stated positions heartening, and others troubling.
