Monday, Houston veterinarian Kristen Lindsey appeared in court to address the complaint against her, according to Lorris Jones with the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
Lindsey is accused of killing a cat in 2015 and then bragging about it on Facebook. The social media post shows Lindsey holding up the cat by the arrow she shot it with. Along with the image of the dead cat, Lindsey posted My first bow kill, LOL. The State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners was in attendance at the court. Critics want the board to pull her veterinary license.

Years ago I had a summer job in a veterinary clinic. I wanted to become a vet. There were four doctors there; three were nuts. One was an alcoholic. I worked as a vet assistant during operations. He came back from lunch one day — drunk — and when the dog panicked and struggled, he punched it in the face with, “Stay still, you bitch!” A second doc melted fish sinkers in the xray room during lunch and made musket balls from the lead in a mold. One day he brought a bugle and DI’s hat and marched up and down the hall, blowing the bugle and yelling, “You’re cannon fodder, [pabianice]!” This was during the Vietnam War. A third was a woman who hid from people during the day and only appeared during surgery. The fourth doc seemed normal. Not good odds.
Dat bitch is crazy.
Agreed.
I think there is a statistic that shows all serial killers started their careers by torturing and murdering animals.
She needs to be removed from everything she can harm - especially animals.
Posting the pic on social media was even more incredibly stupid.
If she had posted a pic with her first wild game kill, I would have no problem with that (although PETA would). Does that mean if she ate her kill I wouldn't mind as much?
I remember seeing a documentary about a serial killer who took prostitutes down to his basement and killed them. He videotaped them and it’s weird because I remember him bragging about his first kill after he murdered a black prostitute. Just like this woman brags about her first kill.
Something also not right about the person who took the picture. I’d sure like to know who that was.
She’d probably make a good ex-wife. The stories about the breakup would be entertaining; assuming of course the man lives to tell them.
If she thought the cat had rabies she should have called animal control. I’m not buying that story. Looks like the licensing board didn’t either.
Isn’t that a song? She’s got...Charlie Manson eyes.
every state I ever lived in allowed hunting feral cats...you all may want to check your local fish and game rules...how ever not very bright to put on facebook for you to realize what we can legally hunt and not hunt
She shot a cat. So what. It is just an animal like any other flipping animal. Posting on facecrap was probably not a good idea.
We shoot cats all the time on the ranch.
Too many people on this forum care more about cats and dogs than anything else - including people.
The muslims are coming - and they are going to eat, fat, rich, stupid, insulated Americans.
ooo if it is outside and not in your control ...it is a feral cat
I am with you on this. Foolish to boast about the deed on social media but I have no problem with killing the cat. If the neighbors don’t want their cat killed, keep it home. Heck of a good shot, by the way.
What kind of person kills their neighbor’s pet? Very strange. If I lived near her, I’d be nervous.
And she is reaping the consequences. Yes the Facebook exhibitionism is part of the problem.
As for the Moose, not if Donald stops them.
“We shoot cats all the time on the ranch.”
You two should hook up.
She made her choice she reaped her consequences.
They should have made her eat the cat
Or was it a selfie?
