Bryan Adams, next it wasNick Jonas and Demi Lovato have canceled their upcoming tour dates in North Carolina in protest of North Carolina's controversial Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act (HB2) law. Widely perceived as being anti-LGBTQ, the stars join artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Boston as acts who have recently pulled the plug on North Carolina shows in response to the new law.
"After much thought and deliberation, we have decided to cancel our Honda Civic Tour: Future Now shows in Raleigh and Charlotte. One our our goals for the tour has always been to create an atmosphere where every single atendee feels equal, included, and accepted for who they are," they wrote in part in a statement posted on both of their Twitter accounts.
There are three more short paragraphs but for some reason the site will not allow me to copy and paste.

More perverts, who cares, and who the hell are they anyway????
Never heard of them.
And why is this in Breaking News anyway?
Yeah, her brother couldn’t sing to save his life.
Tom Scholz was always a liberal nerfherder. But, the music on their good albums (the first three) wasn’t really political. Boston was one of the first websites I visited when I got on the internet, and it was a collection of links to Amnesty International and Greenpeace and crap like that.
Looks like North Carolina's Public Facilities Privacy and Security Act is flushing out perverts from all over the place. I wish them luck in their new venue.
It is plain "stupid" (and perverted) to cater to people with a treatable mental disorder, and pretend that they are "normal."
I have no idea who these people are. However, this law tells men they can’t go in the girl’s restrooms. It’s anti people going into the wrong bathroom. That will lead to a disaster.
They would rather p!$$ off paying customers for .3 percent of the population with mental illness who would probably NOT come to one of their concerts anyway. Really smart. Just like the Dixie Chicks.
We definitely must be in the end times for any government to give civil rights to people based on their SEXUAL PREFERENCE. There’s a lot of people whose sexual preference is children. I’m sure they will be getting some kind of civil rights laws soon.
Go NORTH CAROLINA! I’m happy for the perverts to boycott the state and they can stay out.
Dear Demi and Nick:
All 10 of our sick gender confused population thank you for your support.

Alternative headline:
Autotuned ‘singers’ who are strictly the product of the Disney hype machine refuse to bring their backing tracks to NC.
Lets start describing it as a Pro Woman’s Safety Law
they’re a couple of former Disney stars.....Old Walt must be rolling over in his grave at 5000 rpm.
Thee is nothing anti about anything, , this law is pro , but as usual the media always paints anything to do with the homosexuals , cross dressers when a law is there which they do not like.\\
This is about protecting girls and women whom use showers, locker rooms, bathrooms from dirty perverts.
lets not forget this is not just about bathrooms this is about locker rooms at gyms, swimming pool changing rooms, showers in the locker rooms
Did he really say that? I like it!
If you ever go shopping and look at the tabloids displayed by the check-out counter, you see some of these peoples' faces on the covers.
Thanks to those tabloids on display, I am not completely lost whenever one of those names comes up. I can't tell you anything about those people, but I know their names.
“I seriously dont have a clue who these Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato people are.”............
You, me and millions more like us could care less if these self important “what-ever-they-are” fail to grace us with their presence.
They probably needed to cancel their shows due to low attendance, so this works out as a good cover for them!
