Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau condemned on Monday the execution of a Canadian hostage by Abu Sayyaf militants in the Philippines, calling it "an act of cold-blooded murder."

This happened on Duterte territory - they were kidnapped on Samal island which is just off the coast of Davao City and isn’t Muslim territory.
I have to say, sadly, that tourists should avoid Mindanao for the most part. If any bit of it should have been safe, it would be this.

A guy I worked with was a Muslim who died unexpectedly.
Bunch of us went to the service at a mosque.
One was a zesty Hispanic chick who was kind of a Sofia Viagra type.
When the muzzies told her she had to take off her 4 inch heels, cover her hair, and go in the back with all the other women, you should have heard her go ballistic on the guy in Spanish. It was hilarious.

I don’t have an axe to grind with Islamic people, if they weren’t so corrosive to other cultures.
