Things are getting desperate for the GOP. So desperate that John Kasich and Ted Cruz have agreed to collaborate to try to stop Donald Trump from getting the nomination by divvying up the remaining primaries between each other, each pulling out of the states in which they are weak. For no reason in particular, we have decided to imagine this harebrained scheme as a detective TV show. Here are some selected scenes.
INT: THE CHIEFS OFFICE IN A POLICE STATION. THE CHIEFS DESK IS CLUTTERED WITH PAPERS. A CUP OF COLD COFFEE RESTS PRECARIOUSLY ON TOP OF A PILE OF MANILA FOLDERS. THE CHIEF LOOKS HARRIED AND ANNOYED. TWO PLAINCLOTHES DETECTIVES, CRUZ AND KASICH, SIT SULLENLY ACROSS FROM HIM.

I just don’t want to see you period. Or your period. Or your shilling.
These two idiots are going to pull in so many votes for The Donald. Can’t they see how underhanded this makes them look? (OK, as underhanded as they ARE!) Even folks who don’t like The Donald will vote for him over these two totally unsavory pols.
Couldn’t agree more. I thought “MTV”? But then I read it ... yeah, pretty much.
Corrupt practices by corrupt establishment politicians.
The two stooges. This is the final gasp before they are forced out.
You make a False premise. The system works WHEN the citizens vote. When delegates are awarded by votes of other selected delegates and the citizens aren’t allowed to vote, then the system is rigged.
Cruz get 48% of the vote and 86% of the delegates. How’s that work?
Ted Cruz: “I am king of voterless states!”
In Ct and RI Cruz is behind “Unsure” so will he dump kasich and form new alliance with “Unsure?”
