Wilkes-Barre, PA
Wilkes-Barre was founded in 1769 and formally incorporated in 1806. The city grew rapidly after the discovery of nearby coal reserves and the arrival of hundreds of thousands of immigrants. The city reached the height of its prosperity in the first half of the 20th century when its population reached just over 86,000. Following World War II, the city's economy declined and the Knox Mine disaster accelerated this trend when large portions of the area's coal mines were flooded. Today the city has a population of 41,498, making it the 13th largest city in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

No Todays Trivia as I can barely keep up with this man posting where the rallies are with a few photos. So, like in times past, lets spend the day in prayer and meditation for Trump and his family, our precious country and the people that are the forum. Has anyone heard from our dear friend WVKayaker? Hes down under and was down under. Lets also give thanks to Jim Robinson for having the insite years ago to start this wonderful site. More than ever, its been a welcome retreat for many of us these past difficult 8 years.
If you haven't become a monthly donor do so, even for $5 per month.
He was pretty much eliminated after NY, because he would have had to take 98 percent of all remaining delegates. Of course, that would be impossible. But, starting tomorrow, he’ll have to get more delegates than there are to get, like Kasich.
I need to watch Trump’s other rallies today that I missed. This one was GREAT!
Great picture! Lovely family.
I told her that I’d never been to Japan, but I had been Japanese in a previous life. She looked impressed and said, “Ah, samurai!”
“I am a pick er up pizza eater”
Anyone who doesn’t must be a foreigner. That’s why they put a handle on the outside. The crust.
Cracks me up.... He says... “If I got off AirForce One and there’s no one to greet me, I’d say to the pilot... How much gas we got in this thing..then I’d take off...? Bwahahahahahahahahahaha ROTFLMBO!!!!
LOL.....oh I know where you are.
I'm in Ct., but born & bred in Manhattan and went to boarding school in the little town right outside of Wilkes-Barre.
Rush, jumped from the plane without a chute several months back!
This is older footage but probably similar to the scene played out a couple hours ago when Trump arrived.
Secret Service work will be a lot easier when he’s President. It must be killing them keeping up with his schedule right now.
I wanted a dog here, and one weekend, Marlene visited some folks nearby who had Dobies. At first, she told me, she was quite scared of those bid dogs. But, soon warmed to them and came home to declare, "I want a Doberman".
Our first, Cadbury, was just 3 weeks old when we first saw him and gave a deposit. He had five siblings that we're crushed by their mom when just a week old. He was a hit from the start, and won everybody's love.
Last fall, Marlene kept telling me that Cadbury needs a girl, so now we have Hershey. Kisses to follow next year, we hope! She named them both!
LOL And he’s serious!!!!!!
Must share this...
Had to run in to grocery store, earlier (no food in house, after being out of town). Was in line and caught a glimpse of the latest NE, with Lyin Teds dad on the cover, out of the corner of my eye.
A sweet, elderly lady ahead of me was having difficulties putting and keeping her groceries on the belt, so I stepped around and got her situated. Came back, and hear the lady behind me say This election is really something, isnt it?....as shes reading/holding the NE.
I looked at Lyin Ted and said, Hes a bad boy! She said, Oh, I want you to know....Im for Trump! Im a Trump voter. I told her I was too!
She said her hubby has been a lifelong Dem, and that HES even on the Trump Train, now....because of all of the dirty deals theyre trying, against Trump.
She said, If Trump doesnt win....with all of these tricks theyre....this ONE (points at cRuz) is playing....Ill NEVER vote, again! I told her that I am right there with her.
We both bought copies of the NE, and got the biggest kick out of that...and being in line next to each other....two Trump supporters :)
Pictures are wonderful! Thank you!!
We just had a tremendous rain and hail storm pass through.... Another storm alert, but I’m seeing blue sky and fluffy white clouds! Hope you are dry.
That was funny. The Air Force one story.
Remember how the media would build it up that the USSS and Media hated “W” because they didn’t like Texas?
