Texas Sen. Ted Cruz collected the overwhelming majority of Maine's Republican delegates during the state's GOP convention Saturday.
Cruz collected 19 of the 20 spots up for grabs, with the 20th spot going to Maine Gov. Paul LePage, who's supporting GOP front-runner Donald Trump.

Cruz is the King of non voter States. Unfortunately, he can’t get the Presidency that way.
Very true.
Oh we know how it works ok and come November, Cruz is gonna find out what we think of how it works! (IF he is the Nominee. BIG IF!)
It’s another Cruz “landslide”
Wrong. Kasichs guy was just on Judge Jeanine. He basically said that the delegates are in place to make it Kasich on the 3rd ballot. This is what Cruz has setup accepting all those delegates from the GOP.
He made it clear that it will be Kasich on the 3rd ballot, guaranteed if Trump doesn't get it on the 1st because Cruz would keep Trump under 1237 on the 2nd but not have enough to win it himself.
Then this scum says that 80% of the delegates will be unbound and they will absolutely vote for Kasich. He said it's because they're loyal party members who want the best candidate to win in the general but we know better.
“If the GOPe wheedles the nomination to Cruz, is he going to win with only delegate votes???LOL...”
Geesh, I was always taught that if you know the rules of the game going in and you play by them, when the game is over you either get a W or an L. Different where you are from, is it?
And that explains the Deep South does it?
Maine was not WTA so delegates should have been proportional as Cruz agreed. But then he lies so no unity in Maine.
I know that since his primary process started Cruz has been dramatically better at organizing and executing the local ground game. So, no I do not think it is the “establishment” doing thus fir Cruz. They don’t like Cruz anymore than Trump.
And why would the governor, clearly an “inside guy” be blaming Cruz if the establishment RNC folks were doing this and not the Cruz team.
Your assumptions don’t stand the reality rest.
BS article for NEVERTRUMPS to use as potty time porn
The allotted delegate breakdown is
Cruz 12
Trump 9
Kasich 2
I know Ted and Rush taught you the 37/45% spin, but it’s stupid. Are you against the electoral college in the general?
Take your pick:
Most votes
Most delegates
Most percentage
Most counties
Most states
Most precincts
Most regions
Most demographics
Trump wallops Cruz in every single way way to measure the winner. Oh, except elections with few or no voters. Congrats.
Florida, NY, AZ were closed primaries.
NIice try Goebbels.
These crossovers are not reflected in polling.
If Cruz gets the nomination, good luck beating Hillary
“Oh we know how it works ok and come November, Cruz is gonna find out what we think of how it works! (IF he is the Nominee. BIG IF!)”
Teach him a lesson. Don’t Vote and just give it to Hillary!
Well, where I’m from, whoever gets the most points (votes) wins...And that means the public vote, not JUST the GOPe picked delegates ....
What a clown. Not all states select delegates absolutely proportionately.
If they would vote for Kasich then they are not properly vetted. If Cruz and Trump have the majority of the grassroots support and do their jobs of getting their supporters to the conventions, then they control the process with the vote at the conventions.
What I don’t want is a President who uses excuses to ignore and devalue the votes of the people. That is how Cruz operates and I doubt he will have anymore respect for the people if elected than he shows now.
Exactly. I supported him. At this point, I think of him as an ethics challenged pathetic individual. These views began when he lied about Carson dropping out of the race. Ironically, at that point in time I would have been likelier to vote for him than for any of the other candidates, but he revealed that he is just a Republican version of Hillary - a narcissistic politico who believes he is at the center of the universe, and all else revolves around him. Unfortunate for him and those who still support him, he has zero chance of becoming President, even if he were somehow able to maneuver himself into the nomination. He has very little charisma, and the one thing that seemed to make him different from the rest of the field, his supposed ethics, have now been shown to be non-existent.
