Texas Sen. Ted Cruz collected the overwhelming majority of Maine's Republican delegates during the state's GOP convention Saturday.
Cruz collected 19 of the 20 spots up for grabs, with the 20th spot going to Maine Gov. Paul LePage, who's supporting GOP front-runner Donald Trump.

Zombies are sad.
Cruzmomentum! WHO’S GOT THE CRUZ PING LIST???
Once again, Cruz does great where the voters have no say. Actual elections, he’s won 4.
Curse you, Ted Cruz! Out-organized, again.
Hurry! Manafort!! Get in the game! :-)
Who’s left?
Says something about Cruz.
Trump does best where Dems and Indies determine the winner. Says something about Donny.
Now you know how rotten the system is....and why “We, the People” are the last of the politicians concern.
Once again Cruz out organizes and out hustles Trump and his apparentlylueless team. Do you really want a Trump nominee who is so incompetent at the details and organizing a campaign?
Cruz and his establishment cronies have no honor.
“Trump does best where Dems and Indies determine the winner. Says something about Donny.”
Not going back to check, but I know for a fact that New York was a closed primary. Trump won by landslide.
Says something about Trump and Cruz.
I don’t know what Cruz’s game is, but this isn’t going to set well with the American Voters, it hasn’t in Colorado or Wyoming, so what makes him think he ‘s going to be any where around the Convention in July...
The American people are voting to elect our next President, not Ted ‘without a country’ Cruz, so whatever he is doing by doing this is insuring a Hillary President, I guess that’s what the Bush/Clinton behind Cruz wants along with George Soros...good luck, it’s not going to happen!!!
This whole article is BS. The delegate allocation is only based on if there is a 2nd or 3rd ballot.
Awesome, once again Cruz shows that he shines when actual voters don’t have a say!
It goes along with his actions in shutting down the government instead of trying to outwit the other side to actually come up with workable solutions. Government employees, who are ordinary people, were hurt by that, but Cruz did not care. He had to make political points.
I used to think it would be okay if Cruz were the nominee, but his own campaign and actions convinced me otherwise.
Can you name a state Trump won where he didn’t get a majority of Republican voters? I didn’t think so.
Did “the Donald” even show up?
What about this new “delegate wrangler”? If the greatest negotiator this world had ever produced and with the greatest and smartest team ever assembled CAN’T compete in every state with a Senator NOBODY CAN WORK WITH...well I guess if or when he gets to a general election...the Trump refrain will be: “I was ROBBED!!!”
DK
Says more about those who don’t consider convention delegates to be voters. It’s much easier to walk in, cast a vote, and leave than to actually win a seat at the state convention and participate there.
You do know it is The Party that is doing this, right? Party on the state and local level to stop Trump. You know that right?
Wins?
