Ann Coulter: I hate the new Trump
The Hill ^ | 4/22/16 | Caitlin Yilek

Posted on 04/23/2016 5:02:16 AM PDT by markomalley

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter, a staunch supporter of Donald Trump, “hates” the new Trump.

Coulter tweeted Friday that she wishes “Trump would go back to retweeting juvenile photos of Heidi Cruz.”

“I hate the new Manafort and Black Trump,” she added.

Trump’s convention manager Paul Manafort on Thursday told members of the Republican National Committee that the GOP presidential front-runner is “evolving.” “The negatives will come down, the image is going to change,” Manafort said.

Trump hired Manafort weeks ago to oversee the campaign’s delegate efforts. He has since been promoted to convention manager.

Once a regular on the Sunday morning talk shows, Trump has been noticeably absent since Manafort was hired.

Some of you guys are idiots. Anyone who follow Coulter know she often joke and use tongue in cheek response.

Remember she was the one that said she didn’t like it when Trump retweet the photos, now she say she like it when Trump does it? So which is it?

This is the first major election in which Twitter has played such a role. Perhaps in a near-future election, a candidate will refuse to participate. “I take my campaign and the voters seriously. I will make statements when I have researched and thought through issues and events, not ignorantly and off-the-cuff.”

Exactly pretty self-evidently tongue in cheek. Sheesh.

It was all a lie, Ann.

Just like Christie, and a few other of your one night stands.

Coulter is more pissed off about the Tubman thing. Though Trump is on her side on that.

Coulter was only really pissed off in recent history, when the Confederate flag got taken down and this Tubman pandering thing.

The New Year’s Eve pictures of me in my flying cow pajamas are still out there, somewhere. Fortunately, they’re low-res.

Yes, he is running hard to the left and repositioning himself as a social and fiscal policy liberal.

LOL! He's trying to keep his base as broad as possible - best way to beat Hillary. Cruz has alienated all but the hardest core of "militant" conservatives and if he were to somehow steal the nomination, he would have to do the same with some of his rhetoric or get crushed by Hillary. Trump has very little he has to modify to stay competitive - he knows that the WH is the goal and slavering rhetoric that pleases the far right and the "God needs to smite thee" folks will not play in the General.

And Ann....Manafort is the one that got Ronald Regan past a popular Howard Baker and GHW BUSH in 1980 he knows what he’s doing

It depends. What do you think Trump got in return? A simple we won’t stop your nomination? I don’t think so. They’re in the horse trading phase and I’m voting Trump because I’m sure he’ll come out on top.

Besides, what has he changed? His last few Stump speeches he’s still calling the media dishonest and out current political leaders stupid.

Every stump speech from his first to last is still consistent. He say’s we’re being taken advantage of by foreign countries, then he makes it loud and clear he’s not mad at those countries — he’s made at our political leaders for letting this happen.

>Remember this wasn’t a surrogate or sycophant posting that photo, it came straight from Trump Twitter feed, it’s going to be very hard to walk that back in the people’s mind after watching it hundreds of times via a Hillary political ad..

Trump will post it again but with Bill Clinton. People will just laugh.

His wall in Mexico was a Trojan Horse for amnesty all along.

But Cruz likewise has played games on amnesty, TPA, and Iran.
