“Soul Coaxing (Ame Câline)” is an instrumental tune recorded by
the Raymond Lefèvre orchestra and released in 1968.
It was a hit in the US on the Four Corners label,
peaking at #37 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart
in April at the end of a 12-week run.

"If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy." |
No such luck. I’ll start with my own stuff in a few minutes.
Thanks...I need to rest. LOL! The Blood Bank lady told me.
But no alarm clock. Hurrah!!
Cool tune. Thanks!
Franz Josef Haydn is credited with inventing the string quartet, and he wrote 87 of them during his long life. The string quartet consists of two violins, a viola and a cello. The quartet repertory requires a lot of concentration and rehearsal to get everything just right. As a result, chamber music festivals dont program many quartets because that level of concentration is difficult to attain with four pickup players. String quartets work best when performed by a professional quartet.
This is from the famous Fifths quartet, named after a musical interval and not a bottle of booze. This movement is almost pure counterpoint, often known as the Witches Minuet.
