President Barack Obama told Britain today that it would have to 'go to the back of the queue' if it leaves the European Union, then tries to negotiate its own trade deal with the United States.
A US-UK trade agreement is not going to happen 'any time soon,' Obama said during a joint news conference with British Prime Minister David Cameron.
‘Not because we don’t have a special relationship but because given the heavy lift on any trade agreement, us having access to a big market with a lot of countries rather than trying to do piecemeal trade agreements, which is hugely inefficient,' the U.S. leader said.
Obama faced a furious backlash overseas this morning over what has been called a 'downright hypocritical' push for Britain to stay in the European Union.
In a highly controversial intervention in the EU referendum campaign, Obama pleaded with British voters in a local newspaper and then the press conference not to cut ties with Brussels.
'The United States wants a strong United Kingdom as a partner, and the United Kingdom is at its best when it is helping to lead a strong Europe,' Obama said during a news conference at Britain's Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
In his op-ed Obama also invoked the spirit of the Second World War by claiming the sacrifice of GIs meant America has a stake in the EU debate and said the decision in June's referendum 'will echo in the prospects of today's generation of Americans as well'.

I listened to Obama (which is against my principles) just to hear the reporter blast him. If only an American reporter would do this. He was soo lying when he brought up the Churchill bust being moved to a “high profile position” upstairs in the WH. It’s not the same bust that was in the Oval Office - the Brits were asked to bring a replacement, which they did after the magnificent uproar when people found out about the initial removal.
If only some brave souls would start leaking on this traitorous criminal. What would you do if you had access to something that could blow the lid off this Imposter...knowing Barry’s minions would go after you with everything they got? No one seems to be too worried about such things interestingly.

Not every Brit worshipped him. Many of us old cynical Brits didn’t fall for it. And the UK press may have had orgasms, but there was actually a backlash in the UK at the time due to the endless 24 hr coverage of the US election. Most Brits were actually more interested in soccer, soaps and X Factor.
I expect Barry will be named the head of the UN at some point and remain untouchable legally. No one will go after him “officially”, IMHO - it will just be lots more National Enquirer stories, not that they haven’t done some good investigative work that no one else touched until there was no ignoring it (arrogant John Edwards comes to mind). I thought Sheriff Joe had the goods, but nothing ever came of that.

But the problem is that the British colonial period was not completely ALL bad. It brought science, technology and medicine to peoples who needed them badly. Obama himself is a product, although a twisted one, of the positive aspect of colonialism.
But then what do we call Obama’s Arab Spring campaign launched by Arab/Muslim students who had attended university in the USA , and who had been trained by the Clinton run State Department on how to campaign for the Muslim Brotherhood throughout the Arab World with social media, with the help of Google and Twitter and Facebook.
Obama’s Arab Spring campaign destabilized the entire ME and North Africa, resulted in millions of deaths and launched demographic warfare via refugees against Europe, including the complete destruction of Libya’s and Syria’s economy.Tripoli looks like a movie set from The Day After. The huge Greening of the Desert Project, one of the technological wonders of the modern world in Libya has been completely destroyed.
THIS IS OBAMA’S COLONIALISM! And Obama pretends to dictate to those whom he defines as post colonial dufuses? Obama is not only a dufus....... Obama is a war criminal for what he did in Egypt, Libya, Syria , Somalia, Sudan, Kenya and other places via the CIA and misuse of the US military.
If I were put to the choice of whether to accept Obama’s colonialism or that of the British, I would take the British version any day.

I hope so the EU is an embarrassment. To think so many Americans gave their lives to free those countries only to have them go into a Socialist Bureaucratic Union some 50 years later.
