Joe Scarborough reacts to the debate surrounding the revelation of "two Donald Trumps" -- a conservative primary Trump giving way to a centrist general election Trump.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: [Trump] is going back to what he has always been. We have said on this air nonstop. He is a Democrat. He is a centrist Democrat. Who gave money to Democrats for years. He has never been a conservative. That's not been a secret to anybody. And yet he has blown the doors off every Republican primary.
And when he goes into the general election, it is going to be harder for Democrats to say he has been a right wing religious fanatic who is going to keep you away from abortion, and keep you away from same-sex...
It doesn't make it right or wrong, it makes it harder for Democrats.

Donald Trump IDENTIFIES as Republican.
That should get him into Republican bathrooms...

It is not really that long ago. But Donald Trump's originally harshest attacks were directed at Jeb Bush. He treated Cruz with the highest respect, before Cruz crossed the line, morally, by engaging in cherry picked facts, taken wholly out of context, and then grossly misinterpreted. Had Cruz not violated a central tenet of Cruz's own proclaimed theology, he would never have been attacked by Trump.
Look. This is all very painful to me. I was neutral between Trump & Cruz until the eve of our Ohio Primary. (Support For Trump & Cruz.)
That's a new one on me. I know Manafort was taped making a statement that Trump would modify. We'll have to see if that indeed occurs. But, I haven't heard about Trump saying his whole "primary schtick was just an act".
Care to elaborate?
Romney, McCain, Bush, etc.
Ok, Manafort admitted that...
I guess if bathroom security is your main issue, you have your candidate.
Please don't give me the BS of Trump is a business man that gave money to Al Sharpton for influence.
Conservatives should always favor principles over profits.
Conservatives don't give money to Reverend Al period...
C’mon, you know it’s coming. It’s just a matter of time.
What’s Joe know?
Oh. The truth (here).
Hes there for trade and immigration. If he falters on those two hes done

he’s already backtracked on immigration...so now you’re down to trade
OK Joe - let's say Trump feels it's too expensive to add third bathrooms to every facility in every building in every city in the country.
Fine.
Let the deadbeats in Congress come up with a solution to the bathroom problem... I'm hiring Trump to build the war, make batter trade deals, stop the flow of illegals, bring jobs back.

Do you have a comprehension problem...Trump is not a politician...He’s apolitical...
Trump doesn’t give a damn about republican, democrat, liberal, conservative...Those are LABELS that politicians live by...
Trump cares more about business and the country than all those “professional politicians” put together...
You need to get out of the politics box....
trump is morphing into swartzenegger before our eyes
He hasn’t even read the policy papers on his website.
Colorado Springs, huh.....how did you vote in that primary they held for all you common voters?
Trump is a liberal Democrat on Most issues! Just look at his history:
Supported TARP
Supported auto bailouts
Supported Obama’s nonStimulus giveaway
Supported socialized medicine
Donated money to Hillary’s Presidential campaign
Supported amnesty for illegals (opposed Romney’s self deportation position) and still supports touchback amnesty
Supported a net worth tax
Opposed Reagan’s tax cuts and Reagan
Said yesterday that he supports raising taxes on the rich
On and on and on
The only member of Congress that is even close to being a conservative is Jeff Sessions...He’s with trump...
The rest are ALL “political insiders” no matter what claims they make...Look at their records....
Here are Donald J. Trump’s core principles, published in 1987. He actually lives these principles. The evidence for this is all around the world, literally! You can see him executing one or more of these principles every day! Watch and learn how it is done!
1. Think Big
2. Protect the Downside and the Upside Will Take Care of Itself
3. Maximize Your Options
4. Know Your Market
5. Use Your Leverage
6. Enhance Your Location
7. Get the Word Out
8. Fight Back
9, Deliver the Goods
10. Contain the Costs
11. Have Fun
Now, if any of the Consistent Conservatives had applied even part of this over the past 30 years the country would not be in the shape it is in today. Instead Consistent Conservatives have stood, marched, and yammered for “family values”, “small government”, “lower taxes”, etc., all while just the opposite happened, over and over again. One betrayal of principle after another.
Here is what Donald J. Trump says at the end of The Art of the Deal:
What’s Next
Fortunately, I don’t know the answer, because if I did, that would take half the fun out of it.
This much I do know: it won’t be the same.
I’ve spent the first twenty years of my working life building, accumulating, and accomplishing things that many said could not be done. The biggest challenge I see over the next twenty years is to figure out some creative ways to give back some of what I’ve gotten.
I don’t just mean money, although that’s part of it. It’s easy to be generous when you’ve got a lot, and anyone who does, should be. But what I admire most are people who put themselves directly on the line. I’ve never been terribly interested in why people give, because their motivation is rarely what it seems to be, and it’s almost never pure altruism. To me, what matters is the doing, and giving time is far more valuable than just giving money.
In my life, there are two things I’ve found I’m very good at: overcoming obstacles and motivating good people to do their best work. One of the challenges ahead is how to use those skills as successfully in the service of others as I’ve done, up to now, on my own behalf.
Don’t get me wrong. I also plan to keep making deals, big deals, and right around the clock.

He is NOT apolitical. He has made his political positions made through interviews and donations for years and years.
