If it concerns sex in any way, you can be sure that our culture will fixate on it and manage to defy common sense with hyperventilating indignation. Same-sex marriage roiled the waters for decades, but now that the Supreme Court has big-footed that question, culture warriors are prowling for new realms of transgression to embrace. So, coming to a bathroom near you transgenderism.
Im just back from a weekend at Harvard University where unisex bathrooms are the norm. On behalf of womankind, I say: To the Bathroom Barricades!
Bathroom injustice has been a feature of the world for a very long time. Ask any woman. Most buildings feature equal-size bathrooms for the two sexes an automatic disadvantage for women who cannot use urinals (at least as of this writing). At every concert, stadium, lecture hall, or large meeting room, the line for the ladies room will usually curl out the door and around corners while the men breeze through their facility with assembly-line efficiency. The only building in Washington, D.C. I know of where this is not the case is Constitution Hall, built by and for the Daughters of the American Revolution. Constitution Hall has twice the number of womens bathrooms as mens. Revolutionary indeed.
Some opponents of permitting transgender individuals to use the bathroom of their subjective feelings rather than their biology point to the risk of sexual assault. That seems a negligible risk. Hard to imagine rapists donning skirts the better to grab women in a ladies room surrounded by female witnesses. But the trans-bathroom movement offends in other ways.
Gender-neutral bathrooms are nothing new. We use them on airplanes and trains all the time. At the risk of offending some men, there are two things that should be said about this.

Pandering to a fraction of a fraction of the population makes no sense at all. It is part of the agenda of evil that is being promoted by the Democrat party.
Restrooms on planes and trains are a bad example. They typically accommodate only one person at a time. The problem is when you have a communal restroom.
“Hands off the ladies room,” unless you vote for Trump.
There should be three bathrooms: Women, Men and Not Sure.
Of course instead of Not Sure it could say Weirdos.
“If it concerns sex in any way, you can be sure that our culture will fixate on it and manage to defy common sense with hyperventilating indignation.”
Did you pay attention to those words? It defines what’s going wrong with our country.
By allowing transgender males to use womens restrooms and locker rooms, you have denied a womans right to privacy. But no one is talking about that. I would expect women nationwide to be up in arms over their loss of a fundamental right.
How about this. Make a ladies room for genetic females dressed like a woman only. Violators can be “punished” by any genetic female by whatever means available without fear of retribution. Since men don’t usually care who is in the men’s room it’s open to all, even the genetic females.
Also, why is it that every restaurant or concert hall (Vivian Beaumont, I mean you!) makes the ladies room either at the far end of the hall or hides it away when the men’s room is not only the first one to come upon but highly visible? I do appreciate, though, that many places have one or two or three single bathrooms for both sexes.
In all this mess, somewhere along the line We the People caved. When? Where?
Some quote at the front of a chapter in Hayek’s ROAD TO SERFDOM said “Nothing would prove so dangerous to freedom as the passion for EQUALITY”. I’ve thought about that quote a lot since I read it years ago, and it has proved to be absolutely true.
The people pushing these outrages are indeed wicked, but they delude themselves by hiding behind a supposed good (equality). Who would dare be against EQUALITY? Yet much evil has been pushed on us under its banner.
I think businesses are forcing it more than governments and I think that when women get raped in their bathrooms, they should sue the crap out of them...like Target.
First Trump now Amnesty Graham gets in on the issue.

Good fathers would be perfectly fine with waiting outside and sending their five year old daughters into a bathroom without first checking for this thing...right?
Men or women, by entering a public restroom, you have already given up your right to privacy.
That is the meaning of public.
Women only have themselves to blame. They have been voting and pushing this agenda for decades and now they want to blame someone else.
Women who vote for the left have been hoisted by their own petard.
After a few hundred years of being able to segregate public restrooms according to gender, do you think this is actually beyond the scope of "public"?
If you label it “Women” your privacy remains, IMO. Otherwise why designate?
The Yellow Kid points the way to yellow journalism...
If the country goes to completely gender neutral bathroom facilities, I wonder if the liberals are going to be happy with the unintended consequences.
Every guy knows that there are some men that prove they are morons by drawing nasty graffiti, sexually explicit cartoons, and their phone numbers on the walls and stalls of toilets.
I don’t know if that goes on in Ladies rooms, but if not, a lot of female liberals are going to be grossed out.
Do you honestly think the only danger is a women’s restroom is men? Or in a men’s restroom, women?
The only time I have been accosted in a women’s restroom was by another woman/girl of a privileged class who decided she wanted my earrings.
This world is full of weird, dangerous people. That does not magically change when you walk through the door of a public restroom if you can only keep transgendered people out. 99.9% of the time you wouldn’t even recognize them.
Time to get a grip and start using our brains. That’s what God gave them to us for. Although it’s obvious some of us have been short changed in that department.
Short wait for the mens' room, long line for the ladies' room, and it was especially bad in the intermission between acts. When the long lines at the ladies' room got too crowded, some women would just walk into the mens' room and grab the next available stall. The guys didn't complain, they knew that when you gotta go, you GOTTA GO.
Eventually, it got so bad that a security guard told the guys that if all they had to do was urinate, to go find a tree out in the woods, so the women could use the mens' room.
I remember thinking to myself, "why is it, that when women need to use the bathroom at public venue like this, why do they ALWAYS bring a girlfriend along with them"?
Maybe that's why I had to go out in the woods and find a tree when I needed to pee. I don't know, but then, I'm just a man...
