No, I mean the candidate who’s in first place.

The candidate who is in first place (with less than 40% of the Republican vote) is also the candidate with the highest disapproval rating of any Presidential candidate in US history. Again, good luck with that.

Disenfranchise? They can still vote. And they can still vote for Cruz if they wish.

April 5, Cruz said that any candidate who is mathematically eliminated should suspend his campaign. The image from MSNBC of Cruz saying it is on an ongoing “Kasich” thread.

Cruzer dead enders don’t want to unify. Like Cruz Supporter Romney they prefer Hillary to Trump.

Yep. Cruz is the suicide bomber, going down because he’s losing to Trump and doesn’t care how much destruction he causes.

“Oh I didn’t miss it. I just think it is funny as hell coming from Trump. Unifying the Republican Party is the last thing on Trump’s mind. He doesn’t even show up at State Conventions. He is a destroyer of Conservatism and is actively removing the only quality which separates the GOP from the Democrat Party.”:

Newsflash. Your Conservative “Club” is no longer relevant. There’s a new GOP in town. Go cry to Reince if you don’t lik eit.

“Cruz won’t win. He will be creamed in fact.”

If for no other reason than because he has done such a good job of alienating Trump and Kasich voters.

Get on board the Trump train, don’t get left behind. That’s how we win in November.

The dead enders are not a group you should want to be a part of.

“Whining and lying? You are describing Donald Trump.”

Nope Skippy. Cruz is the one who sent out the whining email about how much he is sacrificing for YOU!

Kasich is the GOPe candidate. GOPe delegates will be flocking to him if Trump fails on the first ballot. But thanks to Cruz, there won't be enough GOPe delegates to put Kasich over the top. I believe Cruz will maintain 90% of his delegates. But Trump will not, primarily because Trump did nothing to stop the GOPe from filling his delegate slots with establishment types.

If Trump does not hit his magic number, then things will not be in his favor. I hear what you are saying about the Party being hurt if Trump is not the nominee. However, it will be ironic to see it destroyed by a Trump loss instead of a Trump win.

Trump doesn’t think it is OK for grown men to use the bathroom at the same time as little girls does he? You got to be kidding. Only an idiot would think that.

“Cruz is mathematically eliminated from 1237 , he should do the right thing and drop out.”

I disagree for two reasons. The first is Cruz is pushing Trump to work harder and get his ground game in order. Trump wasn’t working too hard until the Cruz ground game, as dirty as you may think it is kicked in. Then Trump picked it up.

The second reason is Trump needs to be battle tested in every state. He will have to go back there for the general and he needs his messaging honed.

Cruz staying in is the best thing that can happen to Trump. Trump wants the nomination so bad, he will fight Cruz tooth and nail to get to 1237. And if he doesn’t get there, don’t blame Cruz. Trump had every opportunity to take the delegates away from Cruz like Cruz is doing to Trump. That comes from experience, and Trump needs to get some and fast.

Read up on the 1860 Republican National Convention that nominated Lincoln over the favorite Seward on the 3rd ballot. Was that fair?

Kasich, Cruz, Ryan, Romney, Bush, Rubio or whomever doesn’t matter. The GOP overrides the people and the party implodes and the country goes to hell.
