Republican Donald Trump is calling on his remaining rivals to drop their presidential bids, saying neither Ted Cruz nor John Kasich has a path to the nomination.
"They should both drop out of the race so that the Republican Party can unify!" Trump tweeted Thursday evening....

I thought Cruz should drop out until Trump gave us a peek inside his inner liberal ID today. You people can not be trusted to hold Trump from unleashing his liberal id. Perhaps Cruz can damp it a bit.
Until then, he can whine all he wants, but those left are
in until the money runs out.

That may happen shortly as I suspect donations may well
dry up for some.
Of course he is. Get on the Trump Train, don’t get left behind.
-—Well not for all the children. It is not for the little girls that have to put up with a grown man peeing next to them.

If they were illegal pedophiles, Cruz and Beck would bring them soccer balls while they peed next to little girls.
However, if Trump does not achieve 1,237 at the time of the opening of the convention, then Cruz certainly still has a "path" to winning the nomination on a second ballot if he's anywhere close.
Kasich might think he ALSO has a "path" on the 3rd, 4th, or 5th ballot, but I think he's dreaming about THAT, lol.
Cruz was stupid to set the 1,237 "suspend" criteria, but it remains to be seen how his "path to winning" progresses, IMHO. In any case, he should have stuck with the "path to winning" rhetoric!
You would make a better candidate than Cruz, and that’s not sayin’ much...
False argument. Constitution and party rules allow states to determine the selection process. Never been direct democracy. To this day, delegates/electors select the candidates/POTUS/VP. And Trump has benefited greatly from the “corrupt” rules, and he’s not whined about those caucus states / territories he’s won or in which he’s done well. Fake, selective outrage by a bully.
You don’t know either one of us, and no I wouldn’t.
Did Cruz say that Kasich should drop out since he was mathematically eliminated? I guess what is good for thee is not good for me.
I couldn't agree with you more.
I think the mistaken impression that people get about Trump supporters are that they are "all in" for him.
At least in my case, nothing could be further from the truth.
I don't like his style or his persona particularly. I also think that his ideas concerning international affairs could end up being dangerous.
For me he is a high risk candidate and I'm basically a risk aversive individual.
But I've had no one to vote for for so long that I'm willing to roll the dice. Sad but true.
They don’t even live together, how could she stop him?
If the party indeed cannot be reformed, what are the options?
How did the Whig’s party come to an end, I no longer remember.
I heard he was down to only ‘millions’ left in the account. But nothing official... Anybody?
...since its Donald Trump, their irrational hatred of the man overcomes any common sense... I know what you're saying, but it's not so much "irrational" as it is a fierce and burning hatred of Trump for what he's done. After all, Trump has thoroughly exposed the corrupt good ole' boy Uniparty Club. Cruz is out for revenge too. Remember, he's a true blue Bushie and Trump thoroughly destroyed the Bush legacy by dispatching the heir apparent, Jeb! and exposing the Bush neocons for their stupidity and sabre rattling that cost thousands of American heroes their lives. |
So for the Bushies, it's all about pay back and revenge. That's why it's so sweet justice to see the consistent lyin', cheatin', and distrusTED conservative with all his GOPe and Golden Sacks money being rejected by the rank and file voters. Despite all the backroom caucus deals, delegate grabbing sleights of hand, Rush and Levin pile-ons, and several thousand MSM hit pieces, Trump is gonna beat 'em all spending a fraction of their money. Now to outfox a weasel like Warren Buffets is no mean feat. But I guess the best entrepreneurs on Main Street can run circles around all those Washington-cozy accountants and stuffed shirts on Wall Street. My FRiend, this is gonna be a very big win for We the People. |
How bout this “the first one to drop out will be my primary selection as - - - - - - - - - - - fill in the blank?
