Republican Donald Trump is calling on his remaining rivals to drop their presidential bids, saying neither Ted Cruz nor John Kasich has a path to the nomination.

Everybody is calling on everybody to drop out ... Except no one is calling on Trump to drop out. What conclusion do you reach from this?

Republicans had BETTER unify and unify quick. Mrs. Clinton and her grotesque daughter are signaling SCOTUS nominations and heavy-duty restrictions on the Second Amendment.

Our freedoms hang in the balance. Situation is Critical! What’s it gonna be people, petty BS leading to self-destruction? Or are we going to present a strong, united front determined to erase the Obama legacy and put a stop to Socialist-inspired tyranny?

It’s now or never folks.

Yes and so should Kasich. Calls for Cruz to drop out will start shortly. The money is going to dry up soon.

Until somebody get 1237 delegates, Cruz has a path to winning.

They won’t count if people vote for someone that doesn’t have a chance to win.

Reagan wanted a future in politics. So did Seward. So has every loser of a contested convention until now. So they sucked it up, smiled, endorsed the winner and went away quietly.

Something tells me that if Trump wins the most votes, states, and delegates, and the GOPe takes it away from him, smiling and making nice will be the last thing on his mind. And after the debacle of a contested convention, enough of the 70% of Republican primary voters who are saying they do not want a contested convention will stay home so that the GOPe’s handpicked designated loser has no way to win.

The next President will be named Trump or Clinton, and if it’s Clinton, we will have Cruz to thank.

No; by that logic the remaining candidates keep campaigning until one of them actually wins enough delegates to be nominated at the convention. Trump might be able to do that but he hasn’t yet. And he needs to learn that winning the job of POTUS means he answers to the people - not the party and not the demands of his ego.

If he expects to beat Hillary and all her machine will throw at him, he needs to win the nomination, not have it handed to him. He’ll fight a lot harder to beat her if he’s had to fight for the chance to run against her. So far, despite the nastiness, this campaign has been a bit of a cakewalk for Trump. Beating Hillary will be an entirely different story.

“Of course trump has announced that he will have 1400 delegates, so why scream so loudly for Cruz to drop out.”

Because delegitimizing Cruz’s and Kasich’s candidacies is one of the ways he will get to 1400. Or have you not noticed Cruz’s poll numbers tanking since he was mathematically eliminated?

McCain and Romney had the same. We have not gone to California in 40 years. I want Cruz to stay in to embarrass him when trump wins the nomination outright.

Well, after all, Ted is a proven liar.

This has been bothering me lately, this whole "Lyin' Ted" moniker (sic) that candidate Trump keeps using about candidate Cruz.

Every time I hear that, I wonder, "WHAT are you talking about?!" Clearly I missed something somewhere about all these lies, and a short clarification would be much appreciated!

In truth, I don't care much for the whole lot of them but I will vote nevertheless.

Presumptive nominee means he has the delegates needed to win on the first vote at the convention. None of them have that. There is a fair chance that none of them will.

Therein lies the error. The statement below does not match the headline in red. You can win without the majority going into the convention as long as no one else has it and, with rule 40, you have the majority of 8 state delegations supporting you.

Trump is not the presumptive nominee. He hasn’t got to 1237 yet. Until then, he can whine all he wants, but those left are in until the money runs out.

Cruz needs to drop out after insisting that Kasich should. Incredible that he would be so duplicitous. Also, incredible that you would support that. Could it be that you’re both from Texas?

How can parents protect their children from inappropriate visuals and emotional assaults even if they go to the restroom with them? Blindfolds?

Trump just lost me. He needs to redeem himself someway on his statements today if he can.
