I’m laughing at all of you.
Mostly because of what you are passionate about and what really bothers you. There are more responses to my opine on the freak called prince than there would ever have been about more substantive issues like loss of freedom, over regulation, jobs, labor laws, the economy, national defense, terrorism and out of control spending and entitlements. You will lose your homes and your future to crushing taxes while you weep for a freak that you paid more money than all of you well ever earn, let alone keep, in your lifetimes. I weep for you all but right now I’m laughing my ass off because it is so insane to see this.
Your reaction proves all is lost and we will get what you deserve. What you think is important is just not but you are free to think it just as I am free to think what I do, so far.
Ta ta. Have a nice day.
Very well said.
Days and days and days.
I’m getting a big laugh out of it. Not because he is dead but because so many take it so seriously.
He would need to check with Wendy and Lisa to see if the water was warm enough I suppose. ;)
Man, in middle school I LOVED Prince. Had all his tapes and nearly wore them out. Lost interest once he did the name change and went sort of conventional R&B but never lost respect or love for those old albums.
I don’t care all that much about Prince... wasn’t into his music and not into celebrities. But I am against sociopaths and psychopaths. They do more damage than any other types of people out there. And you, are clearly one of them.
“Ironically his old girlfriend Vanity died just 2 months ago at the age of 57 also.”
OMG! I am surprised that I had not heard this!
If this were true and his religion forbade him to take his medications, that is even sadder.
He made catchy and fun songs to listen to.
Same with the Beatles and the Stones and (I suppose) Williams.
He also made more than one song. Goodness knows the lyrics of the Stones and Beatles aren’t full of words about helping old ladies across the street and joining the 4-H club. 98% of the times, you aren’t even paying attention to what the words are! LOL!
Aren’t Wendy and Lisa “married” to each other?
Careful, you’ll get condemned for hating like me and they will come to kill you for it.
Kinda like the young girl beating the hell out of everyone with her peace beads!
I’m being entertained by this today. What people think is important and how insignificant their icons are astonishes me. Shallow as a piece of paper comes to mind.
We used to see people like this prince as freaks and now people worship them. The new normal, go figure.
My girlfriend and I went to the first showing of his Purple Rain Movie one day and watched it over and over until one of the last showings of the day!
I am almost as devastated as I was when Princess Di passed.
Raw talent. A great ear. An uncompromising spirit. also an eye for talent, while he played most of the instruments on most of his albums when he DID bring somebody in (or on stage) they had chops, and frequently a career later. And he had the will and skill to do anything. Just check all the different musical styles on Purple Rain, the movie stinks but that is probably the best movie soundtrack ever, certainly top 10, it is just plain a great album with styles ranging from hooky pop, through power ballads, all the way to minimalism.

So?
When you die, make sure people talk more about these things then.
Those issues have thousands of posts going back over 10 years. This will get a lot of attention for the next couple of days, and then will go away and spare you the indignity.
Why are you so hateful. You are definitely not a Christian...maybe you need to look into that. That will help you...
I will admit I was a fan of his music back in the 80’s and early 90’s
RIP
I think you’ll be surprised at some of the people you meet in Heaven.
You have all made me laugh today.
Thank you.
I appreciate it!
What other freakish icons and talisman do you hold dear so I can malign them as well?
Life In Legacy is good place to keep up on who has passed away.
