Donald Trump says he believes transgender people should be able to use whichever bathroom they choose.
Speaking at a town hall event on NBC's "Today" Thursday, Trump said North Carolina's so-called "bathroom law," which directs transgender people to use the bathroom that matches the gender on their birth certificates, has caused unnecessary strife.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Thursday that he supports North Carolina lawmakers' push to keep transgender people from using the bathroom that aligns with their gender identity.
Cruz said laws requiring people to use the restroom that corresponds to the sex on their birth certificate makes sense because "men should not be going to the bathroom with little girls," according to the Associated Press.

In the grander scheme of things people simply aren’t worked up against it or else North Carolina would have stood by their own law for more than a week.
Certainly the minute Cruz gets asked, and gives the same answer, the whole thing vanishes.

On Election Day I may just stay home & count cartridges. More comfort in that than being a `good citizen’.

I can no longer support Trump. I have posted some very anti Cruz posts in the past and don’t trust him. But Trump has forced my hand. A man who would let another man in the bathroom with a little girl has no business being in charge of this country.

Trump did not say what the headlines proclaim. But, deceptive headlines have become standard, nowadays.
Don’t jump to the conclusion that Bush would have a different viewpoint.

Mike Gallagher was saying this morning how it’s “more than probable” that Trump would appoint conservative SC justices. I was screaming at the radio, “He’s only been a frickin’ Republican for six months longer than he’s been running! He supported Planned Parenthood! He’s not now and never has been a conservative!” Pretty sure the lady in the car next to me was getting a little worried...

I watched the Today show and it is indeed what he said.
What I don’t understand is why a society is bending over backwards for a group that compromises so little of the population.
I can understand that if you had to go to the bathroom really bad and the line to the women’s or men’s room was too long so you had to use the opposite sex restroom
But what special rights do the transvestite community have
It’s funny how these titles never match exactly what he said over contentious issues
He said the new law creates conflicts and they should have left it like it was before and that transgender only bathrooms would be pricey to institute and open up anti discrimination lawsuits and there had to be a better way
And then the nevertrump and homo lobby make up their own titles
#1 on their list are jobs and illegal immigration.
