Mere weeks ago, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) of Texas pressured Ohio Gov. John Kasich to get out of the race for the Republican nomination because he had no mathematical chance of winning....

Putting Neil Bush on his campaign staff was irrational. Not recognizing how us voting fodder feel about the CO delegate vote theft is arrogant and misguided. Dropping NY campaigning and letting his percent of votes sink so low was real bad political strategy.
How does Cruz rehabilitate himself? First, he has to get out of the Bushes. Second, in the US Senate, he has to be an effective and loyal advocate of all the changes that Trump will initiate. I wonder if he's too far off the deep end to do that.
Until now I had no reason to disrespect Jim Robinson, though I knew little about him other than he founded/created this website.
They did not say “we did it #Cruz.”
They said ‘we did it #neverTrump.”
GOPe #NeverTrump delegates are not Cruz supporters.
At the convention they will be loyal to their party bosses not Cruz = Cruz is not going to win any vote at a contested convention.
IMO, he's already crossed that bridge and entered into purposeful destruction and scorched earth. If I can't have it, no Republican can have it. I was a Cruz supporter from day 1 but turned yesterday when, having been mathematically eliminated, he declared he would fight all the way to the convention, virtually assuring victory for Hillary (assuming she avoids indictment.)
I get it ... you can't add ...
Trump will be 1300+ ... EASY ...
There will be no second ballot ... Trump comes to the convention with 1300+ easy ...
Unfortunately that will never end ...
Trump will get to 1300+ easy ... I understand you Cruzers cant add ...
I'm not sure what I will enjoy more ... seeing Trump get to 1237 ... or Cruz-aide drinkers wailing and lamenting.
Cruz has been mathematically eliminated ... his support will tank, despite the best efforts of Levin and company.
“System is rigged. Trump gets 60% of vote but gets 95% of delegates!”
LOL - sounds like Trump DOUBLE CROSSED us by ‘working the voters’ to get to 60%.
“Cruz will win the second ballot.”
FUNNIEST LINE OF THE CAMPAIGN SEASON!!
Cruz will be lucky if pass to the convention still works for the second ballot. More likely he’ll be hauled off by the police to spend a few nights in the cooler with the Soros bunch...which will not be much fun for him.
Or, if we are talking Colorado:
System is rigged. Cruz gets 0% of vote but gets 100% of delegates!
525,000 NY “republicans” vote for Mr. Trump and its over? That’s less votes than Sen. Cruz got in Wisconsin. This primary is a mess.
You continue to grasp at fairytale scenarios that will never happen.
The very existence of Trump proves the “parties” aren’t in control.
“Trump comes to the convention with 1300+ easy ...”
Step away from the hash pipe!
Agreed. Some reflections:
* Fredrick 11 of Prussia labeled audacity as the must have attribute in great leaders. Trump, whatever his warts, manifests that in spades.
*Lord Acton correctly asserted that “Good men are never great men”. Is Trump a nice guy? Let’s pray that he is NOT!!!
*Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come!!!
He used to say Obama wasn’t eligible because he had one foreign parent, too.
Lyin’ Ted.
Are you kidding me? You've been here since 2001 and claim that you don't know much about Jim Rob? If you want to play in politics, get your head out of your diaper! You're too ignorant to be commenting on these threads with the adults.
Just don’t see it on a state by state delegate count of what’s left.
Can’t argue with that
So, don't kid yourself, they are not going to allow a Convention fight!
