TRUMP TRIES OUT FOR NEW ROLE: PRESUMPTIVE NOMINEE
The Republican nominating process has evolved for a moment just such as this: helping a damaged frontrunner stave off a challenge from a conservative insurgent and avoiding the threat of a chaotic convention.
What nobody knew was that the frontrunner this year would be Donald Trump.
And as Trump showed both in his remarks after his resounding victory in his home state and the promise of big money for the Republican consultant class, he is willing to try to play the part that was written for another player: Mr. Inevitability.

I know Tead won’t recognize Trump as the presumptive nominee, but I won’t hold it against him.
For instance, I do recognize Tead as the presumptive loser.

Even after NY last night, Trump must get 58% of the remaining delegates to achieve a majority of 1,237 before the convention. That's a steep climb. I believe the ‘Pubs go to Cleveland without a true presumptive nominee. Trump might have enough pull to get the prize on the 1st ballot — 168 unpledged delegates he can lobby. If he doesn't, then per the likely rules, I believe he will lose on a 2nd or subsequent ballot. And I'm not saying Cruz will be the nominee, either. I think the GOPe RINO power players will try to give it to Kasich as a compromise candidate, particularly if there are more than two ballots.

Trump was finished when polling at:
20%
30%
40%
and now 50%
You have to love the media. They are always wrong and they expect you to trust them.

Well Gingrich disagrees with you. He says Trump will have 1237 even before California.
You heard it here first.

You might as well put a Hillery for president sticker on your car in that case.

Office of the PN... I was thinking the same thing. Trump needs to create a seal with that, and hang it in front of his podium when he speaks.

Failing to vote for Donald Trump or Ted Cruz in the autumn election pretty much ensures that Hillary Clinton will nominate the next 2-3 justices to the Supreme Court.
If you like the Second Amendment you might wish to consider voting for Donald Trump or Ted Cruz in November.

Could be — time will tell. Gingrich and others are riding the high from NY last night. And it will go well for Trump in the next couple of weeks. Then the West will have its say, and Trump’s progress will be slowed, I think. Either way, it’s an exciting election season, and the #1 thing that must happen is the defeat of the Communist Career Criminal Hillary the ‘RATS are running.
To: DoodleDawg
Does anyone really believe that?
This’ll be the real test. What has been thrown at Trump is minor compared to what’s coming his way. The question is, how will he react to it? My guess is the same Trump you saw during the primary season is the same one you’ll see in the general.
But, I’ve been wrong before

PN = PRESUMPTIVE NOMINE If Obama can have the Office of President-elect, then Trump can have the Office of Presumptive Nominee...then Office office of Nominee, then Office of President-anticipated, the office of President-elect...and finally Office of President.
Would like to see him rub it in the noses of the Obamunists.

Trump’s thrown Lewendowski under the bus, got himself a Palestinian loving campaign manager, he’s shape shifting into the “good guy” status and surrounding himself with establishment GOPe. Just what American’s ordered.

Calling cruise a conservative is abusive to conservatives. He's a GLOBALIST, and there's nothing conservative about giving up your sovereignty as a nation.
