Dolly, I think you have assessed the situation correctly.
The race is now over. Neither Cruz nor Kasich can win the required 1237 number prior to Cleveland.
It is now a mathematical impossibility for both of them. That is reality.
What is also reality is that the true character of both Cruz and Kasich is now on display for all to see objectively.
A principled, Christian , conservative, which Cruz asserts he is, would never stay in this race, as the only objective Cruz can accomplish is to blunt the front-runner and cause a divisive convention, where, quite frankly, Cruz will never be awarded the nomination by the GOP establishment.
Kasich, who is none of the three descriptors ascribed to Cruz,has no chance to accomplish anything in the race, except to take delegates away from Trump. Kasich is merely being the errand boy for the the GOP Establishment. He will also never be rewarded with anything.
All three men talk of unity, but Cruz and Kasich cannot unite anything when they are clearly still in the race to divide the party.
So the character of the three men is revealed, and only Trump has shown that what he is doing is not for his own ambition, but for America.
Only Trump can win a national election, as his appeal is much broader than Cruz or Kasich.
Cruz and Kasich can indulge their Quixotic fantasies, but not for much longer.
It will be abundantly clear the night of April 26th, that there is but one person who is the GOP nominee, and that is Donald J. Trump, Sr.

I thought since you are so perceptive perhaps you have a take on last nights Trump victory speech line up of family and friends gathered around him.
Did you notice that Melania was standing far to the right in the line out of the camera eye? For someone who once was the center of attention and well known model it really says something about the position she chose during such a BIG win. She let her husbands children surround him and I thought...my take...it was a very unselfish gesture.
What was your feelings on her staying out of the cameras eye?
Anyone else noticed her position last night?

Yes,I was almost 50 posts behind, the posts were coming in furiously.
At one point, I just stopped for awhile, and savored Trump’s victory.
A turning point was reached last night.
The other side fights on, but even they know the war is lost.

“Road Runner” last night when we kept seeing people coming out of the wood work posting that hadn’t touched our Rally threads before SHOCKED me!
Then there were the totally new people as pic7 for one who kept posting fantastic graphics! There were also several new. It makes me think last night was the turning point as you say. PEOPLE want to back a WINNER.
Hopefully by the time Trump gets to IN Cruz people will see the fatal effort of voting for him and will vote Trump?

hm, are you to the left of the podium, looking from the front (ie, looking towards the stage)?
My landlord stopped by last night, to tell me that I had a flat tire on my truck parked out front. Doh! As bad luck would have it- the vehicle which I just recently leased did not have a jack, lug wrench or cranking rod to let the spare down, so I had to borrow my brother’s tools which fit, and I had to change the flat right away. I missed all the live events.
That being said, I think your astute observation is telling, and speaks well of Melania, especially with regards to her self confidence, her sense of security in her relationship with DJT, and with his children from previous marriages. I did not see her at all, and was musing about the people behind DJT, and what kind of relationships they might have with him, and why.
It’s now being reported that Kasich got 3 delegates last night, so Trump got 92! Woot! Woot!
OK_ gotta’ run to the dealership. Hope to see everyone about noon my time which is just a couple of hours from now.

I tried to friend up on FB but couldn’t find an add friend button to click. Maybe it’s my computer.... anyway great night last evening and even better day ahead! I used to live in Indy (hubby retired from Eli Lilly) and know someone who gets to sit down with Trump today!
Sorry about your truck. Wish you were closer. My husbands family own an Auto Body shop near me. I thankfully have family handy 24/7 no matter what the problem. Its why we don’t move else where now that I’m retire but then Hubby won’t stop working.
A work ethic that has been instilled in one at a very early age is impossible to break. But I do understand.
