All three candidates will net fewer votes if the polls included independents and Rs who just thought they were correctly registered to vote. Most reputable pollsters used the voter registration rolls when making their polling calls in NY. As a closed primary, it makes it much more simpler for them to do it that way. The numbers are more likely to hold up in this kind of environment when you do not have to gauge the crossover vote.

It’s not the hard numbers they will be looking at, but the percentages, vs. predictions. Anyone less than 8 PERCENT of predicted PERCENTAGE has a problem.
It’s Ok if Trump has that amount of slippage because 50+ PERCENT is very hard to sustain, but much beyond that, it’s a potentially serious problem

Committed conservatives will be aware of registration requirement comoared to the rarely-or-never R primary voter.

I hope so... I’d prefer no noticable deviation from the polls to avoid the ‘cheated’ meme that clogs FR after each primary.

My son started school at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn in August of last year. He went to vote today for the first time in NY. He called me a little while ago to tell me about his experience. He went at 4 PM. When he walked up to get his ballot he was given a Democratic ballot. He looked at it and told the woman that he needed a Republican ballot. She looked surprised and apologized and thanked him for letting her know she'd given him the wrong one. Then she said, "You're the first Republican I've seen all day."

Dem NY Exit Poll:
60% think Clinton is honest & trustworthy.
70% think Clinton will be nominee.
25% concerned if Bernie the nominee.
18% would not vote for Bernie in Nov.
64% think Wall Street hurts economy.
48% want to continue Obama policies.
85% worried about direction of economy.

Each candidates numbers should move up a point or two as the undecideds become 0%.
More likely than not, Both Trump and Kasich should see a point or two bump with Cruz about 1%.
Realistically, I’d expect Trump to be at about 55%, unless late deciders move significantly in his direction. That should put him somewhere between 85 and 90 delegates realistically.
If he breaks 60%, he’ll get close to all of the delegates.

Then she said, "You're the first Republican I've seen all day." That's probably because the Republicans were all at work. Wait until later, when they get off work, then they'll show up.

That’s good. I was reading on another thread how NY allocates delegates after the election. If the primary turns out like that poll, Cruz will not get a single delegate.
Which is awesome.

That would be a worthwhile project: comparing that question’s response inother primaries and see if they also mapped up.

Podesta just gave us the MoveOn.Borg/Soros-approved Media narrative for the general election, a few minutes ago on CNN:
“TRUMP is Dangerous and Divisive, and simply cannot be allowed to be President!”

If Trump wasn’t winning it would be Cruz and so on.
