Where does Ted Cruz stand on abortion, immigration and gay marriage? [Barf Alert]

(snip)

What does Ted Cruz stand for in politics?

Here's a quick look at where Cruz stands on some of the key issues:

Common Core: End it

Obamacare: Repeal it

Immigration: Opposes efforts to allow authorized immigrants legally remain in the Untied States. He supports increased security along the country's southern border with Mexico.

Gay marriage: He opposes gay marriage and says marriage is between one man and one woman. He thinks states that weren't specifically listed in the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling that legalized same-sex marriage should oppose the high court's ruling. He says individual states should be define marriage for themselves.

Abortion: Strictly opposes abortions and opposes any federal funding going to Planned Parenthood.

All a bunch of lies.

It's been adequately documented here on FR that Cruz is totally in favor of illegal aliens. So I don't need to disprove this little fiction.

As for abortion, he may say he is opposed to abortion, but there have been plenty of donations to PP made in his name. And his wife works for Goldman Sachs, a big supporter of PP (why would she be a big shot with them if she didn't approve of their policies).

And, well, with two strikes, I'm sure we could end up finding out that he lies about sodomite marriage and Obamacare as well.

(Don't think this means I support Trump, I don't)

Are you talking about the same Obama care that he stood up to his own party against? The same Obama care that has the mandate that Donald Trump himself said he liked

When I see statements of “Ted Cruz lied “more often than not it’s usually means “ Donald Trump told me Ted Cruz lied”

It’s the same as Ted Cruz cheated

“but there have been plenty of donations to PP made in his name”

These are liberals donating to PP in honor of Cruz, to show their hatred of Cruz...

Man that is a stretch...

He can take any position that works for him. The laws stand. He can not reverse them alone.

I don't see anybody who is worthy of support.

OTOH, I will vote for the most conservative candidate on the ballot...as being likely to do the least damage to the Constitution during his tenure.

But being willing to pick the least bad is a whole lot different than being a "supporter."

In what way? That they be legalized?

Hey, I can donate to Planned Parenthood (or to any organization for that matter ) in anyone’s name too. Means nothing.

RE: And his wife works for Goldman Sachs, a big supporter of PP

In what capacity did his wife work for Goldman? Answer — Wealth Manager. Is that a bad thing?

I used to work as a computer consultant for Goldman. What does that make me? A big supporter of PP?

All guilt by association.

That's what I've read...and I know what I read here is reliable. (See, for example, here)

WATCH THIS:

http://www.ew.com/article/2015/09/22/ted-cruz-booed-stephen-colbert-interview-gay-marriage

Texas senator and Republican presidential hopeful Ted Cruz was booed during his appearance on Monday’s Late Show With Stephen Colbert for his views on gay marriage.

Apparently, we have to ignore things like this in order to indulge in our unsupported suspicions.

The example you provided simply tells us that he wanted those here illegally to come out of the shadows.

There was no talk of amnesty of any kind.

So you dumped trump? CONGRATULATIONS!! That is the first step to sanity.

Anybody who opposes New York Values is a traitor.

Mr. Trump needs to round them all up and deport them on day 1 after his inauguration. He should gather the names now so that he can punish them as soon as he is in office.

I certainly hope that he makes Roger Stone his Attorney General so that this can happen with utmost speed.

A Vote for Trump is a Vote For Diversity!

Go Trump!!!!!

All guilt by association.

I live in the Maryland suburbs of DC. I work as a DoD contractor and typically commute to Northern Virginia to work.

I could cut my commute dramatically while increasing my pay if I would be willing to work for one of the biotech companies on the I-270 corridor.

I won't. The reason why is that a whole bunch of them (to my knowledge) are involved in a whole lot of stuff that goes against my beliefs (such as embryonic stem cell research).

I've also turned down jobs working on National Institutes of Health (NIH) projects for the same reason.

I won't compromise my beliefs because of a job. (In case you are wondering why I take these stances, you can Google "Material Cooperation with Evil")

Your linked article is to a Trump ad. We KNOW those NEVER lie or edit, right? The article is on a site owned by a liberal blogger, Josh Marshall. I thought you were more honest than that.

I will vote for Trump if he gets the nod. It’s been adequately documented here on FR. But I am GOPe, so I have that going for us.
