Rep. Peter King (R., N.Y.) has never been shy about expressing his loathing for Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas), and he was at it again Tuesday on Morning Joe, saying he hated Cruz and would take cyanide if he become the Republican nominee.
Co-host Willie Geist read out a quote from King in which he said any New Yorkers who thought of voting for Cruz in Tuesdays primary should have their head examined.
What happens tonight on the Republican side? How big does Donald Trump win? Geist asked.
First of all, in case anybody is confused, I am not endorsing Ted Cruz, King said. I hate Ted Cruz, and I think Ill take cyanide if he ever got the nomination.
The Morning Joe panel roared with laughter.
King added he thought the polls would bear out and Trump would win handily in New York, although he added he voted for Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Never happen
He’s like the celebrities who threaten to leave the country if Trump is elected
good!
I will vote for Cruz-—but may have to inebriated to do so.....Friends may NEED to let Friends vote drunk!
I’m ok with this.
I’m thinking of those old movies about ancient Rome where aristocrats slit their wrist in the bath. I, Claudius type of scene.
These people would say this kind of crap no matter who the republicans put up. It’s getting to the point that merely running any opponent against a democrat will be declared racist and hateful. Whoever it is will be the worst candidate ever chosen, and the repubs have really crossed the line this time, it was always civil before, but now,....
Facts don’t matter, they invent stuff aka michelle fields, they just turn whoever is the opponent into Goldstein. /1984
Peter King, the ultimate liberal NY insiders insider Warshington establishment politician. Whoa, wait! Is he supporting Trump?
Sure, sure, sure.
So that’s a good threat. I hope he keeps that promise.
Don’t get my hopes up, Peter.......
Do you consider yourself a loyal supporter of the Constitution?
Cyanide? A member of Congress has publicly stated he’d off himself? He needs serious help.
King was on Maria Bartiromo’s show this morning. He didn’t mince words when it came to Cruz. He said something like, “I don’t like the guy. It’s personal.” (Not verbatim.) No pussy-footing around; there it was as plain as day.
All loathing aside for Ted Cruz, for a sitting senator to make this sort of a statement about another, regardless of his personal disdain, is totally uncalled for, beyond the bounds of poor taste, and low-as-a-snail’s-belly sick!
Oh boy.....a reason for me to vote for Cruz.....;)
“Whoa, wait! Is he supporting Trump?”
Yes; King is supporting Trump, but not enthusiastically. He prefers Kasich but know Kasich can’t win in the General.
I'll start a crowdfunding site.
I stand corrected; King is a (HOR) congress-creep. (I think there’s a pun in there somewhere.)
