I just thought of something...
A few weeks ago she was obviously being directed by a voice coach to speak softly, slowly, condescendingly (I added that one), grandmotherly.
She did that in several venues for about 2 weeks.
That was all she could stand, she couldn’t stand any more and reverted to her normal Screech voice.
It seems to coughing fits could be related to her Screech voice. It could strain her vocal cords and throat muscles, leading to irritation that results in coughing.
Resolution: Stop with the SCREECHING.

Yes, but you are producing a productive cough, the post nasal stuff and all. Hilary’s is a dry cough indicative of other problems. I have allergies as well and a cough but again, nothing like hers.

I think she is on blood pressure medicine, like Lisinopril, which gives you coughing fits. She’s been coughing off and on during all seasons.

I watched it and the allergy claim was great.
It was totally automatic -> congenital liar. Everyone knows she has this coughing thing. If I were black, I'd be all over it ... it clearly suggested that she thinks black people don't read or know anything, so she could slip it by them as an isolated event.
No one is more racist than liberals.

Yes, you are right. ACE inhibitors cause a nasty tickle in the throat cough in a lot of people... about 10 percent.
ace 2 medicines don't do this.

She's been in public life for over 30 years - do you recall her ever mentioning a problem during allergy season before? She lies as easily as you and I breathe. My bet is side-effects from high BP/heart medication.
