Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders Revealing Our Elections Rigged: “The Illusions of Choice”…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | Sundance

(Nick Bernabe via ANTIMEDIA) Denver, CO — The 2016 election has been a wild ride, with two insurgent grassroots campaigns literally giving the political establishment a run for its money. But as the events of this presidential primary season play out, it’s becoming clear the U.S. election — and even more so, the presidential race — is a big scam being perpetrated on the American people.

Events from the last week have exposed the system as an illusion of choice and a farce. They have reinforced at least one study showing the U.S. is an oligarchy rather than a democratic republic.

The Wyoming democratic caucus took place on Saturday, purportedly to allow voters to have their voices heard in the race between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Sanders lost the Wyoming caucus by winning it with a 12 percent margin.

Ah. you think it’s your party. I never did ;-)

I’m not beholden to a party. I would love to see more viable options in the elections. Maybe this will help the libertarian and constitution parties.

Less than 50% of the vote? You mean people actually got to vote? I’d say that is a step up from States that Cruz “won.”

And yes I see your point as thinking this is your party. You probably have supported them for years gave them money and time. I get that.

But why would Trump think this is his party? He gave money to the democrats and just recently became a republican.

The rules to vote are too hard if you’re an uneducated liberal.

No they didn’t actually get to vote. They got the illusion of voting. I’d say that’s actually worse.

True or False? People did vote in Colorado? Hint: True...they voted for their delegates.

If you didn’t have to work between 7:30pm-9:00pm or have to put schoolchildren to bed on a Tuesday night, then you had the opportunity to participate in the Colorado caucus. And that's what defenders are calling "the voters DID participate."

It really amounted to party insiders controlling the process. But, hey, it is Colorado's state right to do it that way. The trouble is that the GOP is not coming out of this primary season with a good reputation, because Trump's candidacy is making people notice how the process is really working.

What it does do is expose the true motives of the ruling class, because the people don't differentiate the primary vote from the Constitutional office vote when they see their "vote" taken away from them. Caucuses are "appointment voting" because you must appear at a meeting hall at a designated time to participate; there is no opportunity for early, absentee, or all-day voting.

Even though primary voting is often a sham, the reputational damage to the party is enormous when they play fast and loose with the process.

But the funny thing is the GOPe is being forced to take Cruz because they hate Trump even more. This year the GOPe has to choose a lessor of two evils (according to them).

Nah, Cruz will be able to lose to a dem just as effectively as jeb could. That seems to be the rnc goal the last few elections.

Why are they hard? In Co. you have 3 choices for the gop nominee for president. Mark an x by the name of the person that you choose. Is that hard? I don’t think so. So why are they trying to make it hard?

I know...I was hearing Trump complaining about how he got the unfair advantage of WTA states. He was going to do the honorable thing and insist those delegates vote proportionally according to the states vote. He is really fair and consistent and never complains without doing the right thing himself.

We have to look at swing states and where Trump or cruz can win.
FL cruz has not got a hope in hell here.
VA I believe he would lose that too.
CO the voters there are angry what what cruz and the establishment has done.

OH Not sure about Trump , but cruz no way, Not too good on OH.
NH Trump could take, pa Trump could taker, maybe. NJ I think would still go to Clinton.

So where is cruz stronger, no where. Trump is more a of threat is the party would stop playing around and treat this seriously , instead of acting like babies wanting their own way and guy.

And Trump would even lose by a larger margin. I mean he can’t even get 50% of the Republican vote. Now that Cruz has the GOPe backing him at least he has that...and the people that sat at home Conservatives will vote for him.

Trump supporters will sit at home so they won’t be voting for the democrat this year like they did the last couple elections.

How do you explain about those working 12 hours a night and need ot sleep for the next night, how about marines based in Afghanistan who were denied to vote for a delegate , lets say John Smith who they have never heard of anyway?
How about people for that state who were out on an oil rig, business, overseas working and yet denied their right to vote?

The system is corrupt and you know it and I know it and so do the marines based in war zones right now who were denied.

Uneducated liberals need it even easier than that. They need to be taught one name to look for throughout the state on all ballots with people reminding them as they go into the polling place.

cruz did not even get his own state with 50% for crying out loud.
Maybe call Rush and ask why people are denied their right to vote when they risk their lives for you , Rush, and the establishment in a delegate process?

Ask the oil riggers, business men and women, border patrols, college kids fro that state who are working to a better life and denied their right to vote.

You do realize that all but two states have WTA in the Electoral College, too? Are you going to continue that nonsensical line in the general election, too? I ask because the states control the proportional rules in the general similarly to how the parties do it in many primaries.

In 2012, Florida went 50-49 for Obama, with Romney trailing by only 74,309 votes. Should Florida's 29 Electoral Votes been split 15-14 instead of 29-0?

The Constitution doesn’t tell us how to select our Presidential candidates, therefore, we are free to choose any method we like.

Actually it does and that does not include citizen voters, but state legislatures who may or may not allow citizens to have any say.
