(Nick Bernabe via ANTIMEDIA) Denver, CO The 2016 election has been a wild ride, with two insurgent grassroots campaigns literally giving the political establishment a run for its money. But as the events of this presidential primary season play out, its becoming clear the U.S. election and even more so, the presidential race is a big scam being perpetrated on the American people.
Events from the last week have exposed the system as an illusion of choice and a farce. They have reinforced at least one study showing the U.S. is an oligarchy rather than a democratic republic.
The Wyoming democratic caucus took place on Saturday, purportedly to allow voters to have their voices heard in the race between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Sanders lost the Wyoming caucus by winning it with a 12 percent margin.

OK then at least you answered, unlike so many.
So my question is why should our sons who risk their lives serving in Afghanistan or Iraq etc should not have a say in the process while those establishment cocktail types make the rules to suit themselves?
Careful. Youre starting to sound like a leftie there.
Don’t you just love it. If you don’t believe in man made global warming your a denier
If you want a NBC not a Canadian/Kenyan your a birther
If you wonder about Saudi’s role in 9/11 your a truther
If you don’t spout the party lie your a leftie
This name calling has worked very well to divide us all. I say we give it a rest.
How about military members risking their lives not being allowed in the process which was made by the establishment, for the establishment and defended by the likes of you?
Agree.
If you want to try to have a rational conversation, please identify a state you want to talk about.
That one sentence exposes the problem perfectly. Voting isn’t hard. There is only one reason to try to make it so. Why have people voting for delegates at all? There just is no good reason.
I have a son, my oldest who is a marine and for all the marines who were denied their right to vote if they lived or came from CO or PA then how is it that the establishment defenders can say this is a fair process?
why stand for hours, do the research and then see your vote does not count
Please thank your son for his service. 3 of my 5 brothers were in the Marines. 2 served in Nam, and one in Korea.
I am anti-establishment and anti-government. But I’m also adult enough (unlike some here) to understand that I don’t get everything I want in life and that just because I don’t approve of how government works (or doesn’t work) or how states run their primaries (I am opposed to open primaries, for instance, where Democrats can and do cross over and vote for Republicans)....I’m not going to sit around and whine and screech constantly about corruption. It’s asinine to do so. But hey...you guys feel free to continue on and knock yourself out. See where it gets you.
and thank you for them too.
This is why I am so passionate about this corruption.
Why do men and women risk their lives for two parties which makes the rules to suit themselves and they are denied a vote?
Then why elect any delegates at all, or have any ballots cast after the first ballot at the convention at all; in fact why even have a convention at all?
I know. Lets all vote via Twitter! Or even more better.

Yes it’s all been an illusion of sorts. I mean primaries are fairly ‘new’ in the big scheme of things.
But the funny thing is the GOPe is being forced to take Cruz because they hate Trump even more. This year the GOPe has to choose a lessor of two evils (according to them).
So to hell with all military members who are denied their right to vote for a delegate right?
You might want to think you are anti-establishment , but you defend the establishment whether you like that or not.
The rules are made by the establishment for the establishment and to hell with voters, but we can agree that primaries should be all states, though you don’t say that, but also they should be all closed primaries.
I did make up my own mind. Why are you so big on jumping to wrong conclusions and showing your lack of education. Oh wait...now I see why you like Trump.
Never mind replying to any posts to me as your comments are really getting more stupid (if that’s even possible).
Maybe you don’t know this but we do not get to vote directly for Cruz or Trump. We vote for delegates.
In states that “allow” you to vote for the candidate directly is lying to you because they actually send delegates who may or may not vote for who you voted for.
Politics is supposed to be the second oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first. - Ronald reagan
Yeah I did get a week suspension for not praising Trump a few weeks ago.
But...just like the idiot left... that thinks that just showing up should be enough for them to win (no work should be involved for such “special” people, dontcha know).... Trump and his fans seem to think that they are so special that they don’t have to work for that win, either. They think wrong.
I think we should use the kiss method. What is wrong with whomever has the most votes wins the delegates and whomever has the most delegates wins the nomination? Most of us are sick of using focus tested words in certain parts of the country with a guy wearing work boots because they are going to go to work for me and fight and fight and fight. Just tell us your ideas of what you would do in office, and then do it. Most of us don’t need or want all that other crap.
Yeah, well...making an observation about someone that tells you “Maybe Rush or Rove can mail you the talking points this afternoon.” isn’t exactly name-calling. But, I’m not surprised, really, that you don’t know or can’t discern the difference. I have, however, seen many liberals make that exact same type of comment. Just so you know.
