If you want to try to have a rational conversation, please identify a state you want to talk about.


That one sentence exposes the problem perfectly. Voting isn’t hard. There is only one reason to try to make it so. Why have people voting for delegates at all? There just is no good reason.

Voting isn’t hard. There is only one reason to try to make it so. Why have people voting for delegates at all? There just is no good reason.

Delegates conduct other party business, construct a platform, make plans for general election strategy, etc. It's not just about nominating a presidential candidate.

And furthermore, if there is no majority winner from the primary season, then the delegates have to vote until someone gets a majority. It's what they are there for.
