(Nick Bernabe via ANTIMEDIA) Denver, CO The 2016 election has been a wild ride, with two insurgent grassroots campaigns literally giving the political establishment a run for its money. But as the events of this presidential primary season play out, its becoming clear the U.S. election and even more so, the presidential race is a big scam being perpetrated on the American people.
Events from the last week have exposed the system as an illusion of choice and a farce. They have reinforced at least one study showing the U.S. is an oligarchy rather than a democratic republic.
The Wyoming democratic caucus took place on Saturday, purportedly to allow voters to have their voices heard in the race between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Sanders lost the Wyoming caucus by winning it with a 12 percent margin.

Demagogue
Simple Definition of demagogue: a political leader who tries to get support by making false claims and promises and using arguments based on emotion rather than reason
Demagogues have been with us much longer than political parties, however, with modern communication tools, their reach is more widespread than ever before.
It is such a stupid talking point and I have correct him or her for a couple for days now about this.
If one cannot understand the difference of letting the voters vote and not letting the voters vote then they are not better than those wanting a dictatorship.
the same establishment talking points of how FL gives it’s delegates out and yet cruz never win a county here, he did awful and would lose in a general to Clinton which means we lose the white house.
I guess this made some sense as you typed it, but I can't make heads or tails of what you're saying.
OK so how does one work for these delegates. pay them off, bribe them, wish them things, tell me how does one work for these delegates?
Well, what you do is actually have supporters in each district. Then you get some of those supporters to run for delegate. Then you organize an effort to get your people elected as delegate.
Something Trump was entirely free to do. But he decided not to.
You get your people named as delegate by doing the work and organizing. No bribing needed. Just show up. Trump didn't show up.
He lost.
Many, if not most of us have realized that the primaries are rigged. But, much like magic, we know the plane didn't really disappear, but, we don't know exactly how it was done. The winner take all strategy is one way, this stupid no voting for the candidates is another. Trump is exposing how they are doing it. I liove it. And no, he should keep every Florida vote and tell the gop to suck it!
OK so now you have the delegates and how does one Trump or cruz work for that delegates to get their vote. You said you had to work for them so how does one do it.
Is it bribe, wish them things, pay them off, blackmail them, tell me how does cruz or Trump work for that delegates?
You do know what a majority is, right? More than 50%.
“No one has a right to a vote in a primary. Someone please show me where our constitution speaks to this.”
The Constitution does not even envision elections to choose a President, never mind primaries.
I thought the people voted not the counties! Anything to help the party front runner I guess though, right?
You know Florida WTA was rigged to help Jeb Bush but it backfired. Now Trump is fine with that rigged system but not the direct election of delegates.
BTW: Where is the link to what Rove said? I’d like to see how closely he’s copying my points.
Yep, that's an important step. But there's still the rules problem. And unless you're a real insider, it's tough to change those rules. I'll use PA as an example.
Let's say I am a Rand Paul guy. And I let everyone in my district know that. So I get get Paul supporters to vote for me, enough that I get to go to the convention.
But I'm unbound. At the convention, I'm persuaded that Paul is not best for the GOP. maybe the RNC backs that up with a promise to donate to my next political campaign (I'm running for dog catcher in two years).
So I do as I'm told, and flip to Jeb! on the first ballot, hoping that the voters will forget about the flip two years from now. And since most voters really do have short memories, that's a safe bet.
Sorry for the long-winded response. But it's important for folks to know that some state primaries really are easy to rig.
Then you should be encouraging this type of posting and doing it yourself to get more votes for your guy—if you truly believed that.
Ok.
Using the distribution of the popular vote compared to the delegate count, do they match up?
seeing as trump got 66 out of 667 counties and all districts ten I would say Trump gets all the delegates here.
Now what is the point of backing a guy who came in third, in swing states like VA, FL can’t win a county, no enthusiasm here for him and then thin he can beat Clinton in these must win states or is this about just stopped in Trump as they cannot control him.
I already answered that. This isn’t about Cruz it’s about the “fairness” Trump wants to bring to the election.
To be fair if a candidate gets 10% of the vote they get 10% of the delegates. If a candidate gets 40% of the vote they get 40% of the delegates. Pretty simple really.
So if trump got 45% of the vote he gets 45% of the delegates and if it splits a delegate into a fraction I’d be willing to say we round up for the person at top. Sure it’s a little advantage but it’s not like rounding 45% up to 100%.
you seem to not undertand what is being said so let me make as clear as I can for you.
You go and find the link to Rove saying the same thing on FOX last week on his white clip board.
OK hope you understand that. now the establishment rigs the rules and yet you repeat the establishment talking points and defend them in CO , but not I FL where at least the voters voted unlike CO where the few voters voted for a delegate to be paid off or bribed.
I’ll wait for you t tell me how does a candidate work for a delegate to get their vote.
No, the rules for delegate selection WERE NOT CHANGED.
The ONLY thing that changed is the non-binding straw poll. Since the national GOP changed the national rules to try and cram their rules down Colorado’s throats, we decided to forgo a state wide poll that was never binding.
LOL You said this is not a democracy earlier and now you say the delegates are given to the person based on how many voted,.
Talk about hypocrisy .
I love that it is getting exposed too, but Trump is just as dirty when he doesn’t point out the WTA rigged system. He needs to focus on all of it. But then if he did that people would realize he’s a whiner because he has been helped more than hurt by the rigged system.
The key was Jeb imploded and never had a chance. So the system meant to elect Jeb was used against the GOPe. I think Trump realizes he’s going to lose to Cruz so he’s attacking like a madman without logic. If he had logic he’d point out the WTA was set to help Bush and Trump in the end was the benefactor.
I agree but that’s a different issue with unbounded delegates. But this is their party not mine so they get to make the rules. For example, if you come to my house you take your shoes off—it’s my house I get to make the rules.
My vote appears to have more effect on icanhascheezburger than in GOP primary.
