Ted Cruz dominates the delegate-selection process in Louisiana and Colorado. Trump then erupts in flustered indignation, sounding like Mom in the old joke: Mom: How was the game? Son: Great. I went 3 for 4 and stole second base. Mom: Well, you march yourself right back to school and put it back. You would think that, instead of jeering at Cruz for his hustle, Trump fans would boo their own candidate for fielders indifference. He just stands there, fuming and whining, watching as his opponent circles the bases.

I don’t know what he’s waiting for (90 days?) but he’s about 24 mil in the hole since Feb
and he has received 34.7 million in donations? self-funding, right?

Yes, you are a joke.
So there ya have it.
I think a lot of people will be upset if Trump wins the nomination and their man doesn't.
That happens every election.
People generally accept the fact that their guy lost in a fair contest, then move on.
But I don't think they will be as bitter as Trump supporters if he loses because the other candidates haven't had the GOP openly doing everything possible to prevent their candidate from winning the nomination.
That is exactly what has been happening the last several months and everyone knows it.
The GOP elite and insiders have made no secret of their plotting and planning to deny the nomination to Trump.
The media has been jam packed with stories about the various Stop Trump efforts but no Stop Cruz or Stop Kasich stories that I recall.
There is no critical thinking among many Trump followers, just blind adherence. Kinda like Obama eight years ago. Remember what we thought of Obama’s supporters then?
Seems Trump wins more vores
Corrupt to the bone.
And while America is being hoodwinked, lied to and looted, the Cruz hacks want everyone to have nice quiet polite discussions while maintaining that D.C. country club garden party decorum.
I say bull sh*t.
LOL Seriously? NATIONAL REVIEW?!?
Such a great, totally unbiased news source...
Pullleezzz!!!
National CRuzReview....lol.
Trump has far more substance issue-wise than Ted Cruz. And far more leadership. Donald Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee.
And your comment about Democrats and Reagan is ludicrous. Are you trying to say that Ronald Reagan being a member of the same Democrat party as FDR is somehow better than today's Democrat party?
In any event, regarding lack of substance: Ted Cruz is the epitome of that. Over the last month, Ted Cruz hasn't been able to string together 2 sentences without turning it into a demonization of Donald Trump. No matter what question he is asked, he immediately attacks Trump.
Ted Cruz isn't talking about the issues at all, and he's afraid to even use the term "DC cartel" anymore (except for in his campaign lterature, of course) for fear of upsetting his GOPe benefactors.
You're surprised the only conservative running isn't doing in the northeast liberal stronghold of NY?
LOL! I suppose the South must also be liberal, given how well Ted Cruz performed there!
Cruz is sitting at 25% in national polls. He's not aviable general election candidate.
And he has shown himself to be a naked, unprincipled opportunist who is perfectly content to carry the GOPe's water. Everyday Cruz looks more and more like part of te crooked Establishment which GOP voters are so sick of, and which he supposedly decried. Well, as soon as the going got tough, Cruz jumped right in bed with the GOPe.
Ted Cruz has lost. He will have been mathematically eliminated after the next Tuesday or two. His only hope was to get the nomination at a contested GOP convention, which would irreparably splinter the party, and guarantee a GOP defeat in November.
Simply put, that's not going to happen. Not even the crooked GOPe is that stupid.
Vote Trump
when this process started I thought we were all on the same page about what we’re fighting against
about the connected Insider DC power establishment that didn’t respect the people ...the voter ...that put them in the office
now I see with Cruz and his supporters ...they are exactly what we were fighting against....
Cruz is worse than Obama or any GOPe insider..
“He might have to spend some money to win!!!”
Whenever you pop your head out for some air, you will notice that Trump is winning.
What happened in Colorado and Wyoming are wins for the GOPe, not Cruz, unless you admit Cruz and the GOPe are one and the same.
The National Review is dirty
The Cruz-bots are trying desperately to connect the word “whine” with Trump every time he opens his mouth. They are like slip and fall lawyers throwing anything out in hopes something will stick.
“Ted Cruz spent four years in a private law practice”
from Wikipedia:
Private practice (Cruz)
After Cruz finished his clerkships, he took a position with Cooper, Carvin & Rosenthal, now known as Cooper & Kirk, LLC, from 1997 to 1998.[47] While with the firm, Cruz worked on matters relating to the National Rifle Association, and helped prepare testimony for the impeachment proceedings against President Bill Clinton.[48] Cruz also served as private counsel for Congressman John Boehner during Boehner’s lawsuit against Congressman Jim McDermott for releasing a tape recording of a Boehner telephone conversation.[49]
I can't remember a potential nominee that was so crude, divisive and went out of his way to personally attack other candidates. I don't see a big unity moment after the candidate is picked. If it's Trump there are a lot of Pubs who will not support him. If it's Cruz, Trump and his supporters will claim it was stolen from him. Nobody is going to win, except the Rats.
The media has been jam packed with stories about the various Stop Trump efforts but no Stop Cruz or Stop Kasich stories that I recall.
The same media that does so much to help Pubs?
There's no doubt that a lot of career Pubs don't want Trump. The question to ask is why. I don't think it's because he will shake things up. I think it's because they believe it will be a bloodbath for all Pubs in Nov. In this instance I think they're right.
Cruz was elected to the U.S. Senate from a very large state, running on the Tea Party platform.
What public office has Donald been elected to, where voters have a say?
So the only private sector job this lawyer GOP career politician Cruz has had was a couple years as a.....LAWYER?
Good grief!
There ya go again, you’re all offended by Trumps tone and because he’s the only outsider who actually fights back and kicks these politicians asses? Your feeling have been butt hurt. Too bad.
Trump has done more to unite the voters in this historic election than any politician in modern history. Reagan comes close.
Learn it.
