I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat.
My reply:
Build the wall.
Enforce the law.
Deport them all.
End sanctuary cities.
End anchor babies.
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration.
Cut the taxes.
Cut the spending.
Cut the regulations.
Cut the government.
Cut the debt.
Cut the EPA.
Repeal ObamaCare.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states.
Get a handle on trade.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital.
Bring back manufacturing.
Bring back jobs.
Strengthen the economy.
Defend the second amendment.
Defend religious freedom.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges.
Rebuild our military.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil).
End political correctness.
Take the GOP head-on.
Take the media head-on.
Take the liberals head-on.
And win, baby, win.
All of the above on a shoestring budget compared to most of the 16 competitors hes defeated (after they spent 100's of millions of donor bucks).
No PACs.
No big donors.
No party support.
Whats democrat about any of the above?
Whats not conservative?
Whats not to like?
And I’ll add a few more:
Redo the horrid Iran deal.
Take a serious look at NATO.
Require our allies to pay more for their defense.
Rebuild the Reagan Coalition and attract blue collar workers by making America first again on manufacturing, trade, secure borders, economy and jobs, jobs, jobs!
Make America Great Again!
...and Crawford, TX and Chappaqua, NY, but people aren’t ready for that yet.
That’s great rhetoric. Unfortunately I see nothing in Donald Trump’s past to suggest he is actually interested or capable of doing any of those things.
Why would they be banned...just because the boss like Trump?
Not a chance.
We marvel and chuckle at the extremes of human delusion they embody.
When it comes right down to it, that’s all Cruz has too. Campaign promises. Cruz has no real world experience whatsoever. He was a great solicitor general for the state of Texas, but has zero executive experience and really no legislative experience to speak of either.
So I'll be voting AGAINST the eventual democratic nominee, as I've been doing for 25+ years.
Because I'm a good judge of character.
Donald Trump has lived the American Dream.
Akll he wants to do is work his butt off to make America great again.
Why do you believe the Trump-hating propaganda being spewed by the Left/Media/Gope/Cruz campaign?
For so much of the Establishment to be against Donald Trump, there has to be a reason, and it certainly isn't because he's a "liberal Democrat".
People change. Donald Trump has changed.
Even if half the things Donald Trump said were lies (and they're not) he'd still be way ahead of every politician I've ever known, including GOPe sellout Ted Cruz...
Well said.
I’ve been banned and others have too.
Wake up
Bump for later saving and giving credit to Jim for this!
Good response.
Trump has been a successful businessman for most of his adult life. Great executive. Builds things, creates jobs, makes things happen.
At least Donald Trump is willing to try. Ted Cruz, having gone totally GOPe, obviously won't. And with the People behind Donald Trump, anything is possible...
Based on your lack of seriousness in this reply, I’m left assuming you believe him because of some kind of gut feel.
Fine, we all have those intuitions - some are right and some are wrong. And we may follow what our gut says is right, but let’s not pretend it’s based on facts or evidence. Let’s not pretend it’s based on critical thinking.
There is only one person running for President that we know based on facts and evidence is a conservative, that’s Ted Cruz.
To pretend otherwise is fooling oneself.
All I can say is I hope if Donald Trump wins the nomination you’re right. My gut tells me otherwise, I suppose I prefer to rely on facts and evidence, vice faith, but I will vote for him if he is up against crazy Bernie or Billary.
Lastly, it’s a bit shocking to see one of the leading voices of conservatism such as yourself, openly base the future of conservatism on the gut feel of a NYC real estate mogul, instead of evidence. It’s also surprising to see an open post such as this, when I’m sure you’re aware of the sharp divisions the Trump candidacy has caused among conservative friends.
Not much else to say, good luck Jim.
“And Crawford TX and Chappaqua NY”
+1
Pathetic response. Keep it up...
Trump is a doer not a talker. He’s actually accomplished things.
Did you even bother to read the list that Jim posted?
Yes, and with his landslide victory in November, maybe 55 or so states, he will bring in many Republican Congress critters. He will have what he needs to do what he is to do.
And remember, he wrote 'The Art of the Deal'. And he practices it.
