Democratic strategist Harlan Hill told Neil Cavuto today that up to 40% of Bernie Sanders supporters will cross over to Donald Trump if Bernie is eliminated. That’s a pretty high number. Harlan takes the opportunity to repeat his stance of himself crossing over to vote for Donald Trump as well.

I don’t think you will. I say the same thing about trump. But when I get in the voting booth, the thought of Hillary due to me is not an option and will say a prayer for America and pick Cruz. After the primary there is no more hate. It’s over.

I honestly think it’s foolish not to push him in conservatism.
I am hoping that voters will keep him in the right direction. If he veers, then heck to pay. If he gets 3 promises through...wall, fix trade and start bragging about America and not apologizing for it, that’s a great start. Add in the jobs by getting rid of the over regulations on small business. That would help. My biggest hope is starting to pay down the debt. I’d like to start by paying China their 7 trillion and go from there. If we can be debt free from China, that would be a very good thing for our country.

What a joke. Cruz deliberately lies about Trump’s positions every day, and you talk about Trump being hateful? No wonder so many FReepers who used to like him now detest Ted.

Trump is good friends with Hillary and Bill Clinton and attends many pubic events with them. He said in 2008 and 2010 that Hillary would make a good President.
This means that Hillary and Bill are NOT as bad for lying as Ted Cruz. Hillary lied about the deaths of great americans fighting in Benghazi and almost everything she talks about day to day.
That tells me a lot where Trump is really coming from and where he is going.

It wasn’t Trump who made 2/3 of Republican voters feel the party has “betrayed” us. The GOP did that before Trump ever got in the race. Now Cruz is actively working as the GOP’s shill to prevent voters from upsetting the status quo. He’s shown himself to be a phony who will sell out the minute it’s good for Ted.

So what? The GOP screwing up and Trump being a dingbat are not mutually exclusive. Diagnosing one of the problems is not the same as offering the right solution(s).
The GOP -- stupidly -- adopted a liberal immigration policy that was against the wishes of a majority of its voters. it deserves an uprising for that. The problem for some of us is that no matter how justified the uprising is, it's being led by the wrong guy.
Right now, I'm trying to keep myself convinced that the Supreme Court is enough of a reason to vote for Trump in the fall. But to be honest, the more I read about what most Trump supporters seem to want, the more I start to think it's just not with it.
Who’s condoning Hillary? The fact is every time I see Cruz now he is lying about Trump. Before he was pointing out Trump’s inconsistencies and questioning the sincerity of Trump’s current positions. I had no problem with that. Now he blatantly lies about his positions, like saying “Donald Trump want’s to destroy the Second Amendment.” That’s a lie, flat out. Or saying “I’ve won the last 11 elections”. How gullible does he think people are?
You said it was Trump who is making this about “ battle against those who feel “left out”, and everyone else”, and calling that “class warfare”. If it’s class warfare it’s between the political class and everyone else, and Trump isn’t causing it. The political class is. America is rapidly becoming The Hunger Games, the political class and their billionaire masters vs. everyone else. Too bad Cruz is now a shill for the other side.
