Two black women are each seeking $4 million in damages from Victoria's Secret, claiming they were treated like criminals and ordered out of the Beverly Center store by management after a confrontation with an aggressive customer.
A lawsuit filed by Shaunda McDaniel and Tammi Robinson alleges negligence, slander, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false arrest and violations of various state codes.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs went to the Victoria's Secret store, located in a predominantly white and affluent area, last June 16 for the chain's semiannual sale. They were perusing the sale items when a woman who "appeared to be white" hit and shoved McDaniel and pushed Robinson, the suit alleges.
After McDaniel requested an apology, the other customer said, "I'm saying nothing to you," according to the suit.
A manager showed up to investigate and said she would call security. The other customer continued to be rude and aggressive toward the plaintiffs while all three of them were being detained, according to the lawsuit.
Another store manager, who was white, approached without any security guards, according to the lawsuit. Having done no investigation, she assumed McDaniel and Robinson were at fault because they were black and the other customer was white, according to the complaint.

Women still smear that crap on ??
Yes. In several interesting places. *grin*
Our church is cancelling its annual garage sale because of word we have received of "training seminars" devoted to showing people how to stage slip and fall "accidents" on church properties to get insurance settlements.
Who do you suppose puts on these seminars - Christians?
4 million eh. That’s about two sets of underwear at that place
I would have sent them to Goodyear Blimp’s Secret.
Black Lies Matter and black lies mean blackmail. The latest ploy by African thieves.
I’ve always thought that quite possibly Victoria’s “secret”
is that she might really be a . . . man? (Oh, and pakini
panties are uncomfortable!) . . and tight brassieres also,
AND polyester slips also. No matter how loud they insist
it’s “acrylic”, it is still POLYESTER!
There was a crew of female thieves who would hit up Victoria Secret places and before you knew it make of with thousands of dollars of stuff, right out in the open. They worked several states and there is security video of them. Now given that these persons seemed to have something in common with the persons described in this thread, I wonder if the management was warned to BOLO.
VS deserves our wrath. They sell very highly priced merchandise that is manufactured in despicable places around the globe. At those prices, they could afford to pay US workers for merchandise sold in the US.
Inspired by Michelle Fields?
I got some good bras at the VS sale. They were having a buy one get one free on bras that normally cost $25, plus if you spend $50, you get a $25 gift card. I was able to get 5 all cotton bras for $10 each. I don’t like how the sales clerks “help you find the right size” though.
They probably thought you wanted to sex up some Muslim child brides.
It says “... manager, who was white ...”
That is irrelevant, but proves the article is supporting the fraudulent accusation.
It’s in the Lane Bryant section...
Women pushing each other at a sale?
Happens all the time.
I applied for one of those jobs, but they told me my hands were too small.
Without words we do not have all the facts who started this .
