NASHVILLE — Dozens of undocumented immigrant students from Chattanooga and other parts of Tennessee rallied Tuesday at the state Legislature and spoke with House members in hopes of reviving stalled legislation that would let them pay in-state tuition rates to attend public colleges and universities.
The bill failed last year in the House by a single vote after passing the Senate overwhelmingly.

Sen. Todd Gardenhire, R-Chattanooga, who sponsored the Senate bill and passed it overwhelmingly last year, said, "I'm hoping they bring it out. Let's have a vote one way or the other."
Earlier this year, Gardenhire said he was concerned the House bill could face more problems due to anti-immigrant sentiment stirred up by GOP presidential hopeful Donald Trump.

Why don’t more people simply take heaps of pictures at gatherings such as this and force the governmental foofs to deport all the illegal criminals?

In state tuition for illegals is the idea that a Mexican/Honduran/Syrian criminal in Tennessee illegally should pay less for college than a legal resident of Kentucky does. Even compared to most causes espoused by liberals, this is reprehensible.
They are not undocumented. Most illegal aliens have fraudulent documents in several names
They are not immigrants. Immigrants apply to be Americans, wait their turn, learn the language, pay their fees, and comply with the laws.
Illegal aliens is what they are.
Deportation is the what the law says but the government refuses to enforce.

Yep. Consider for a moment the title of the article. It uses the nonsensical phrase "undocumented immigrant". Twenty years ago that phrase would have been mocked.
Now that phrase is not only acceptable, it's preferred. Soon it will be mandatory.
So a student from just across the line in Georgia has to pay out-of-state tuition, where a student who slipped into the country from Mexico only pays in-state tuition....

The headline misspelled “illegal alien.” I keep seeing that problem.
