Up late, and watching CNN and the Pope has landed on the Greek island of Lesbos, and the "refugees" have smartphones taking pictures and selfies with the Pope.
Yes, and much safer.

Rent a billboard on I-95, near the Disney exits! ha
Seriously, these memes needs to be placed where the 18-40 year olds go to chat or comment on stuffs-sports. College kids need some counterbalance to block the socialist-kumbaya- message. A Young Republican Club might be effective with dissemination (Got one in your area?)or Meet-up groups. Print business cards to direct folks to a good forum, like FR, to engage them.
Do you tweet the memes?
It’s not wrong at all to have nice things, but it shouldn’t be for the purpose of usurping the place of blessings.
The cure for this is largely in gaining a vision of what Jesus can do. People who have honestly seen this and recognize it for what it is, will push themselves to and beyond limits to see it actualized in their lives.

What does that mean to you?
A lot. When I see selfless (or, God-loving) evangelism and I see how the Lord has inspired it in the people doing it, then I find myself moved in that direction too.
And my experiences have sometimes been a little amusing. I’ve been able to inspire people who say they are some other faith with the right gospel themes. That reminds me again why the gospel was called good news. The bent of worldly religion is to be glum in the long term, with only brief happiness. They’re busy trying to merit their way to a heavenly life and they never think they can merit very much, if anything. I know now that I merit nothing but the Lord zeroed in on my life and merited it all on my behalf.

Same here. I see lot of other people who go the “name it and claim it” route, so when they see success and opulence, they think of Jesus as an ATM machine for material wealth.
We need more simple church with simple men in the pulpit who can speak more about the power of the Holy Spirit than the exegesis of the original Greek text.

Many think that you have to be somber and unhappy on earth so you can “deserve” eternity in heaven. No, God chose you at the beginning of time. Be like David and dance naked if you want to celebrate!
I don’t mind preachers who dig into the Greek and Hebrew to follow a particular theme in how it was treated in the bible. But the point shouldn’t be how clever we are to see it, but how wise God was to arrange for it to be stated in such a fashion.
God can bless an abundance of riches. But the ultimate test is not in the riches, but in how the riches are used. The gospel has the quality of getting us to see things in the way that God sees them, with an abundance of grace and forgiveness on His part together with an insistence on progress. Often we will find that God has been endeavoring to bless us all the while, but we never paid it the attention that it deserved so we lost the blessings.
Well, I think David showed his underpants :-)
Looks like those “poor” migrants have up to date smart phones .....
Looks like a great LIE , a socialist LIE as usual IN ORDER TO destroy/weaken the western people and their christian roots and cultures and IN ORDER TO ensure , via benefits and promesses , liberal politicians to be elected again and again
And people aren’t even asking the questions needed to determine if the situation makes sense. It’s like a dazed “yessssssss master.”
Pope Francis openly advocates for the death of Europe / Western Civilization, stating that the ongoing Muslim invasion is a good thing.
He is a force for evil.
My kindest explanation for his evil work is that he is insane.
The more a church talks (sincerely) about God and the less it talks about itself, the better it seems to do.
I read some of the material that addresses the current pope’s misadventures, and think I’ve come across the script of a soap opera. It’s all about he said she said he hinted she hinted, omg what direction is this intrigue going to head now... which is a sideshow, imho, that keeps us all from looking to heaven to deal with these stiff challenges.
LOL!
Thank you for the compliment. Hoping and praying everything has gotten better for you.
