Plattsburgh is a city in and the county seat of Clinton County, New York, in the United States. The population was 19,989 at the 2010 census.

Plattsburgh was founded by Zephaniah Platt in 1785 after he was granted the land by George Clinton. In granting land to Zephaniah Platt of Poughkeepsie, New York - who went on to establish the new city of Plattsburgh to buffer emerging American interests in the Saint Lawrence River valley and Lake Champlain valley after the American victory in the American Revolutionary War - the centralized American authority proclaimed the area including and surrounding the old French trading areas and Iroquois settlement to be refounded as the settlement of Plattsburgh in 1785.

Your right. Even some of the protesters are admitting there are Trump supporters with them just for the fun.

Here’s what Trump fan Scott Adams (creator of Dilbert) said about Trump’s “New York style”....not being a NYer or even an easterner, I think he’s right and many of us have embraced it:

“I grew up in upstate New York and his style registers with me in a completely different way than it does with my California friends who can’t stand him. What I see is bluntness, honesty, some risk-taking, and a competitive nature. I don’t hate any of that. In fact, I kind of like it.

I have blogged about making the transition from my New York personality to my California personality. New Yorkers tend to say whatever they think is true to whoever is standing nearby. Not much filter. Californians say what they think will make you feel good. The California way would feel like lying if it were not so well-meaning.

I certainly understand that Trump comes off as arrogant, obnoxious, and lots of other bad stuff. But over time, and compared to the liars on stage with him, you might get hooked on hearing his honest opinions. That’s how the New York style works. At first you hate it because it seems so harsh. In time you start to appreciate the honesty. And when you realize the harshness is not a signal of real evil – just a style – you tend to get over it. He won’t win over all of his haters, but I predict that his New York style will grow on people more than you would expect. You could say his style is his biggest problem, but it might be self-solving with time and exposure. He is getting both.”

Yes, the Kasich people were funny. They speak their peace about the guy, in like five seconds, clearly a bit embarrassed.

Trump looks like a president, talks like a president and acts like a president.

Cruz looks and dresses like a two suit undertaker, talks like a snake oil salesman and acts like someone who doesn’t have any horse sense.

He doesn’t usually stumble with words but his emotions are kicking in today when he talks about New York values.

The dishonest media won’t report how safe our rallies.

You are going to remember this after noon.

Your going to remember this day.

Go out and vote. Vote for TRUMP! “I love America so much!”

I do think that If Hill kills it for Bernie, his voters would prefer Trump, so long as Trump points out carefully that each and every one of those young corruption-hating Bernie fans WOULD LIKE TO BE RICH from their hard work too, and that if those voters WERE rich, they might also be motivated to do something to free their country back, instead of sitting in a room counting gold bars all day.

(Bernie’s main rant against Trump is thst he is rich.)

Funny. Very careful and honest difference between the CA and the NY way. I like it. However, growing up as a Jew in L.A., I dare say our values are more like the NY values because so many of us (not me) came from there. Many, at least HALF, of my friends’ parents growing up had NY accents.

I completely get Trump. His way of talking and thinking is very familiar to me.
