Plattsburgh is a city in and the county seat of Clinton County, New York, in the United States. The population was 19,989 at the 2010 census.
Plattsburgh was founded by Zephaniah Platt in 1785 after he was granted the land by George Clinton. In granting land to Zephaniah Platt of Poughkeepsie, New York - who went on to establish the new city of Plattsburgh to buffer emerging American interests in the Saint Lawrence River valley and Lake Champlain valley after the American victory in the American Revolutionary War - the centralized American authority proclaimed the area including and surrounding the old French trading areas and Iroquois settlement to be refounded as the settlement of Plattsburgh in 1785.

11. In Trump's glorious speech at the black tie gala, how many times did he mention any opponent by name?
12. How many times did Cruz mention Trump by name?
Very descriptive words. LOL He did a good job describing her to a tee.

There was also a crowd kerfuffle after a man named "Sal" began shouting at Cruz to answer whether NY murder rate had gone up last year.
Anyone know what that's about? Did Cruz say anything about the murder rate in NY? Has it gone up or down? And what is the significance?
The sound system tech from New York was only giving Cruz a part of the “New York values” tweaking. You’ve got to LOVE New York. Don’t mess with Baby in the corner.

Cruz off-cam: For a quick answer, the murder rate went up 4.5%." Campaign acknowledged 10% figure in its original NY TV ad was "inaccurate"
And to think, Many don’t give Donald the credit he should receive being able to march on and continue his speeches at every rally. Donald gets yelling all through his rallies good and bad and he’s able to keep right on track.
Hmmm, I don't think the rules say anything about live microphone at the podium.
It could have been a dirty trick. It's fun to speculate that way. Dirty tricks definitely are part of everyday life. But, never ascribe to malice what can explained by accident or stupidity. Unless Limbaugh has some evidence of a dirty trick, beyond the event, then he's courting bad juju by ignoring the sound rule about ascribing malice.
At this point, Limbaugh is preaching to the Cruz choir. I don't know if he is aware of that, and I don't care. I wish him well in his endeavors.
Newt just said Trump’s speech last night was very effective and very presidential. Then said, now, can he resist tweeting stupidly.
Good morning, Kit cat!
Newt likes winners. Says Trump is winning.
He admires Trump. Says his bruttaly knocking out opponents worked. Now Trump to pivot to presidential. Compared him to Jackson.
I don’t know, but someone should talk about Obummer and Hill’s buddy who is the Mayor of Chi-town and the murder rate there. There is a thread on FR almost every week that talks about the murders and shooting over the weekend there.
As I said on the thread last night, these were party bigwigs. I don't want to guess at how much it cost to attend the dinner. They've all heard the stump speeches before; some can probably deliver them.
Trump took an interesting approach with his stroll down memory lane. Cruz delivered a speech they'd all heard many times before.
Didn’t hear that but Newt just mentioned NATO and Trump saying that countries aren’t paying their fair share and he thinks there is nothing wrong with that. He was in a meeting with the Bush admin in the 1980s (I think) where they were saying the same thing.
Said Kasich is a tremendous person and he thinks his best job is as VP.
Was he Captain Kirk?
Said the guy who sat next to Nancy Pelosi for an ad.
Armchair quarterback - he's right, of course. Stupid tweets, stupid remarks, they are all used against you. Trump has made surprising few stupid tweets, I'd estimate about between one and two per month. And in the past few weeks, he's been limiting his tweets to "thank you," announcing certain teevee appearances, and polls. There is no tweet on the Fields/Lewandowski affair on yesterday's news.
Said Kasich is a tremendous person and he thinks his best job is as VP.
I thought that was his most interesting and telling off the cuff statement. Said he didn’t mention Kasich as president because he thinks his job will be VP.
Kasich and Newt are VERY close. Kasich is in the race still to leverage his delegates to a VP slot. Trump would be the only one to leverage that because Cruz would need more than the mailman’s delegates to get to 1237.
Hopefully Trump gets to 1237 without
Kasich.
Or. The sound tech was a union guy. Since the program ran late maybe his time was up so he left.
I like to think it was a dirty trick as well, but I don’t think it was. Rush is ignoring the fact that sound kept cutting in and out during Trump’s speech as well, and I think they finally just lost the connection entirely during Cruz’s speech.
As for the audience mikes - once they lost the podium mike, I don’t think they had any option other than to switch to the audience mikes, other than to have people watch Cruz in dead silence.
Trump did good. Probably a bit of what is known as "shit luck" to that. He didn't feel a need to make the talk about politics in particular, but instead about tangible objects that have their current form, in part because he took an interest in them. It just happened that those objects are familiar to this NY audience.
They make a bundle working OT. It was something else...
;-)
I like Newt. I'd have voted enthusiastically for him in the general. But he's not a nationalist.
Agree with your conclusion, "Hopefully Trump gets to 1237 without Kasich."
