Sen. Ted Cruz’s hopes for winning the Republican presidential nomination outright have faded, and he has shifted to a strategy of gaming the rules, angling to send enough double-agent delegates to the July convention to snatch victory from front-runner Donald Trump.
It’s a major reversal for Mr. Cruz, who just weeks ago insisted he would win the 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the nomination before the convention. But major wins in Utah, Wisconsin and Colorado have not closed the gap, with a series of East Coast primaries looming.
Now the best option for the senator from Texas is trench warfare at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

And how, exactly, is it Cruz’s fault how states decide to run their primaries? If anybody is losing good will, that would be Trump with his constant Cruz bashing and BS accusations of fraud and corruption where none exists....where only the system that Trump doesn’t understand and doesn’t want to understand exists. Trump is not only arrogant....he’s lazy, as well.

Trump was either ignorant or incompetent of the caucus process in Colorado.
In the primary states, Trump is working the delegates just like everybody else.

Scrounging for delegates is the name of the game and every candidate, including Trump is doing it.
You’re the one trying to make it sound like a crime.
Well if Trump gets 1237 Cruz can’t do anything. If Trump can’t get to 1237 he needs to get to work trying to do the same thing because they both need more delegates to win.
One thing for sure...only one person can win...everyone else will be a loser.

Here’s a novel idea.
1. You develop a platform
2. You announce that you have entered the race
3. You address people in public and spread your plans
4. You submit to elections where people get the choose between your plans and the plans of others
5. You let the chips fall where they will
6. You don’t bother trying to get delegates who were fairly won, to switch to you rather than the person who won them.

you have to start with honorable people. our republic demands certain christian principles in it’s people and it’s leaders of the political parties, and everything else. absent that requirement we cannot hold onto this republic. it is lost people. government edicts, fines, jail (no article 3 jury) on who can pee where. it is done. our government tells people where they have to pee.
Wait so Ted DID fairly get delegates in Colorado. Right? So you’re not whining about that in your list?
But then if that’s not fair then neither is Trump getting 100% of the delegates in a state when he gets less than 50% of the vote. How is that representing the more than 50% of the people who voted for other people? This rule is just as bad as the Colorado rules....assuming democracy is what you want. If it’s not then everyone needs to shut their pie holes on what is fair within a PRIVATE party/organization. If you don’t like it start your own party or change the rules BEFORE you lose not after and then you cry about how unfair it is.
