Ted Cruz supporters took all 13 of the delegates up for grabs at the Colorado GOP Convention on Saturday to complete a clean sweep of the state.
But it was not without controversy.
The Cruz camp and GOP establishment leaders strong-armed their way to a sweep by banning Trump delegates and omitting them from the ballots and listing Cruz delegates TWICE!
They even listed their candidates twice on the ballots.
Thank you for some sanity.

Well that’s fair, isn’t it??? Don’t the rules say they can do that??? Or maybe it’s because the rules don’t say they can’t do that...
Unbelievable
More and more lies and cheats from the Canadian.
Under regulations established in the 1980s, delegates cannot take money from corporations, labor unions, federal contractors or foreign nationals. But an individual donor is permitted to give a delegate unlimited sums to support his or her efforts to get selected to go to the convention, including money to defray the costs of travel and lodging.
From the Washington Post, 4/11/16.
If you can produce something from a reputable source as opposed to Hoft who is an extension of the Trump campaign I’ll read it.
Is Gateway now based in Macedonia?
You might want to update your tag line now that the story is out that the Colorado Trump delegate lied.
This is about fraud and cheating of the people, not fraud and cheating of Trump, why can’t you Cruz people get this through your heads? And you want me to believe your guy is an honorable man who wants to uphold the constitution, Mom, baseball and apple pie?
It is becoming apparent Cruz is a lying dishonorable cheat who is copying the Hillary Clinton methold of winning! And you Cruz supporters are proud of it!
Or else, go the other way; all states winner take all. I agree all states should be closed primaries. Here in Nevada, we have an open primary which is why we have a Republican caucus for president which, interestingly, Trump won, by about the same percentage Romney won four years ago. Whatever the rule is, it should be uniform across the country. There should be the same rules for all, same voice for all party members in all states; and the delegates bound to the candidate, no switching allowed until the candidate himself releases them. In other words, no funny business where delegates are concerned. Definitely no super-delegates and no favorite sons! It might not be a bad idea to have all the primaries on the same day, or maybe regional primaries, all closer together, so that all states matter. We need big reforms in the matter of primaries so we don’t see this kind of cheating again. And if we get brokered conventions, so be it. At least they will be honest brokered conventions!
If you vote for Cruz or Kasich, you are stealing a vote from Trump. They all belong to him. The media and RNC said so.
Few seem to be interested in being civil any more.
Your about 2 Million Votes behind about to be 3 Million soon.
Answer - Manafort & Co
You seem butt hurt that your guy doesn’t understand the art of the deal.
Isn’t he the MAster negotiator?
The smartest guy in the room?
The one who outsmarts everybody?
ROTFLMAO
“Whatever the rule is, it should be uniform across the country. There should be the same rules for all, same voice for all party members in all states...”
Yeah - who cares about the Constitution!
Article II, Section 1
excerpt on the election of the President:
“Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress...”
there are going to have to be a lot of fanny cushions around this place as Cruz wins more and more delegates- I knew i shoulda bought stock i n the kleenex company before the primaries-
I believe the Bush/Gore recount was to make us believe our votes actually counted. Lots of people were starting to doubt until that fiasco. It was all for show.
I certainly agree with what you say for “elections”.
But for what we call “primaries” it is something else all together.
The republican party and the democrat party are private organizations
and they run their clubs by their own rules.
...what dates each state will hold their primary...
...will it be winner take all or proportional...
...how many delegates awarded to each state...
...how many delegates does the national committee get...
It is all a big scam on both sides of the aisle.
